No Irrigation? No Problem! Meet the Melnor Pulsating Sprinkler!

- There are lots of sprinkler options on the market, but this Melnor pulsating sprinkler saved my seeding project this Spring. I wanted to get started on seeding the bare spots early even though my irrigation was not on yet. Hand watering is not an option for me, so I went with this sprinkler that was very versatile in it's settings.

Great sprinkler, I have several. I love this even more on the tripod to better simulate rainfall getting the head more up in the air. Best thing about this is their warranty, when the head wears out they send me new ones!

I like the impact because they reach long distance.
Melnor actually have a couple of options that are good with distance as well. The impact definitely puts out a lot of water in a little bit of time. 👍🏽

Great video, what's the maximum distance the sprinkler will throw water in your situation? I think the Melnor manufacturer specs state a radius of 42.5 feet, is that accurate?
I should have but didn’t test the distance. My water pressure was low at that place so it likely didn’t reach the max.
What psi is your water pressure thinking about getting 3 of those.
I don’t know the exact pressure but it’s not as high as I’d like.

What is your water pressure are you using tank water or pump water for pressure of impact sprinkler please reply
I have no idea what the water pressure is, but I do know it's not great. I wanted to get it tested but just never did.
