Yes! Honestly the people who run precure were very generous for doing this. Children lost their homes, friends, family, etc. They wanted to spread hope for kids to smile again. Honestly this is probably why smile is my favorite season. Once you hear this intro, it makes you smile. This was a magical season, they were amazing for thinking of this.

(It might take nearly 20 years like with Sailor Moon, but maybe someday we'll get a continuation of a true Precure dub. :p)

I'll admit, I haven't watched the raw version, but I can't imagine what was cut impacts the dub all that much. (Doki Doki, maybe, but nothing too substantial from what I saw.)
As much as I disagree with the disregard of the original content thrown out the window & we were given Glitter Force. It was the dub that actually introduced me to Smile Precure. The only thing that bothered me in this show is Reika/Cure Beauty is far to favorable & isn’t as flawed like the other 4 Cures. & I would have wanted Miyuki/Cure Happy in those Pink Butterfly 🦋 wings. She’s my favorite Cure & I would have loved her even more if she had those wings.
