This show is like a guilty pleasure, I know I'm not the target audience, yet I still watch it because it makes me feel better, is like watching Powerpuff Girls, but without feeling old.
I'm 9 years old and glitter force was my very first anime in the world, I loved it so much but then forgot about it..I'm planning on watching it back now! I only remember glitty lucky and that glitter charm thing(and glitter sunny)

As someone who loves Japanese anime, allow me to address a very important issue: There are two kinds of people who watch anime. Those who watch dubs (English voiceovers), and those who watch subs (Japanese voiceovers with English subtitles). Now I'm a mixed bag. Depending on the anime, I'll either watch it subbed or dubbed. Based on the comments, many prefer Smile PreCure, which is what Glitter Force is originally called in Japanese. Nothing wrong with that. The Japanese dub is always ultimately better. But try to understand that even the English dub is just as good at keeping our younger audience entertained. My niece is 6yo, and she is going on Round 3 of watching Glitter Force (literally, this is her third time watching this series), and you know what? I'm happy that she's enthusiastic about it! This is, technically, her first anime, and she loves it! Every time this song comes on, she's singing along. Any time the characters transform, she's mimicking and calling out their catchphrases. And, I think, that's what everyone is ultimately forgetting. Yes the English dub can be cringy at times, but if our younger audience loves it, let 'em! Don't hate and say, "Ooh the sub is better! Dub sucks, you suck!" For some kids (like my niece), this is their first anime. Share that love, and when they get older, introduce them to sub. If they prefer dub over sub, then THAT'S OKAY. It's okay to love a certain thing over another. Respect one another, and show each other your love for this show, no matter the language difference! That's what this show is all about, in BOTH languages! And that, is the most important thing of all. 😊
I appreciate your comment. I love Japanese anime also and while I did see one episode that isn't in English (aka the sub). I love both the English and Japanese but I hate it when people say "the sub is better! Dub sucks, you suck!" It upsets me. It makes me want to cry.

Yeah, Glitter Force Doki Doki was my first anime, I thought it was awesome so I watched it twice. I'm glad I watched it cuz now I've finally know what I'm into, and it's anime. Though ive heard that the original japanese version of the Precure franchise is far better, i cant help but hold this intro in a special place in my heart, as its one of the most nostalgic chimes ive heard. When me and my older sister were children, we watched Glitter Force to the GROUND. Now at the age where she was watching the show, i barely gained the grasp that “hey, i can be my own person” so i kinda just, watched the show with her, and i loved it, and here we are now
there are other seasons. glitter force is an english adaptation of smile precure, which is the 9th season, and glitter force dokidoki is adaptation of dokidoki precure, which is the 10th seasons. though there are some skipped episodes and movies. there's currently 17 seasons. and I'm not sure if they going dub the other seasons. if you are going to watch it, the movies are canon, since hugtto precure confirms it.

I was 5/4 years old and watched this with my sister on netflix..I loved it so much..I am now 9 years old and this show brings back so much memories of seeing them fight villains.Im gonna start going back to watching it..I don't remember the character names but I always love the person that has like fire or their tomboyish, like the girl that have fire power. Glitter force is pretty good but I like the original anime as well (smile precure) but they're not going to make a season 3. And it's too late too :| becuz glitter force was made in 2012 (SO OLD)
