scene 16 (which had to get removed because of PT Boomer) in Thomas & the magic railroad was about PT boomer driving past 475, they didn’t use a microphone and the clip had no audio so I added some existing audio and created this

Why wasn’t that scene in the movie?

Same reason why the current version of the movie exists as it is. The original had a lot of deleted scenes which included P.T. boomer and a different voice for Diesel 10. But when the Director's cut was shown to a test audience, some of the scenes frightened kids and parents wanted changes. So, it was "out with boomer" and a bunch of the original scenes were cut. I think the Director's Cut though would have been much better though

The real steam locomotive in the movie is actually the strasburg railroad's Norkolk & Western #475 steam locomotive. It was around the farm areas around strasburg, ronks, that other area in that part of Lancaster County Pennsylvania, and those other areas around the Strasburg Railroad. The shining time station area is actually a little station in the strasburg railroad. Some of that was made in the movie. After that strasburg went and made B.E.D.T. #15 into a Thomas the tank engine. The Thomas at strasburg had a successful run, of course... Well, some things were not, like one example: When they were firing up the Thomas locomotive, of course it was going good until it happened, a little bit after the Thomas was fired up, the heat went into the smokebox and then all of a sudden the heat in the smokebox went melted the eyeballs in Thomas' face. Luckily that was NEVER seen by the public and was quickly fixed. Then in April of 1999 Strasburg's first
Day Out With Thomas was made. And then other Thomas units were scattered all over the u.s. in other railroad museums in other states. And then the U.S.A. Then had things of Day Out With Thomas, from that day on.
