Note: none of the audio used is mine, and the original video has no sound. scene 16 (which had to get removed because of PT Boomer) in Thomas & the magic railroad was about PT boomer driving past 475, they didn’t use a microphone and the clip had no audio so I added some existing audio and created this

please note that some scenes don’t have sound because during filming, the crew didn’t use a microphone, and all of this footage is raw. The blu ray version is out so I took advantage and did this 10/15/21 update: i realized I missed about 2 scenes, so these are *almost* all 475 scenes
Grand Continental passengers train in the movie Under Siege 2 Dark Territory. Casey Ryback killed to the terrorists, saved to the passengers and escaped before of the collision. I love Under Siege 2 Dark Territory, is my favorite movie. Train collision in HO scale.

At 7:41 when he says "those are some new ones", that ain't no lie. Those SD70Ms were ordered new by the Southern Pacific in 1994 and '95. The units shown were probably a month old at the time.

Was watching Lethal Weapon 4 the other day and while it's a quick shot the scene where the baddies try to push Riggs in from of the oncoming train towards the end of the movie I swear one of the two trains that double smack the bad guys is pulled by a chop nose geep with what looks like the Grand Continental livery. Edit: just looked up the scene in question and 1804 is pulling the second train that finishes the bad guy.
This is amazing - the Grand Continental really was a rolling film studio! Using the car shells to house all the equipment and support infrastructure for the shoot is such a neat and efficient idea. Looks like it was a really engaging shoot!
the 2nd unit of Grand Continental #1810 is the same as the third unit of the Runaway train back in 1985. Along with the Sd40-2, F7 unit, and the 2 gp7s

I doubt if anyone has mentioned that Rainbow Sun could be an anthropomorphised engine, if he is in the Thomas universe, just like Lady, or that Rainbow Sun is the only engine that is not anthropomorphic.

@@kevinmills8437 I got Under Siege 2 on DVD and on the hijacking train scene at the back of the train the back door was open and I can see in the last passenger car through the open door and there was no passenger seats on the train at the back and no passengers at the back of the train but in the movie Under Siege 2 the terrorist put all the passangers in the 2 last passenger cars on the train.
How many trains did the Under Siege 2 movie train had a give way to.

Those Amtrak P40’s & P42’s sure looked good in the Phase 3 paint scheme. I really miss the Southern Pacific railroad. Love seeing all that old power in its glory days.
