Arctic Norway offers some of the most beautiful anchorages I've ever seen, and I haven't seen them all! Don't lose your bucket list of eyes. Our roads might cross up there one day. Stay safe and fair winds in 2020 !

From a very young age to my mid 20s me and my family sailed from Sweden to and along the Norwegian west coast every summer, the beauty of that coastline is still what I dream of a a final resting place, where heavens and seas meet, and I've done a fair bit of travelling since. Sailing Lofoten in the midnightsun is if not, as close to a psychedelic experience it gets.
So true. Above the artic circle, everything seems quite untouched. Very few boats. cristal clear water...

Wow ! Fantastic video...i sail in the very North of Sweden and hope to sail the Coast of Norway sometime When i dont need to work anymore. This winter i spend alot of time on youtube lookning at sailingvideos, to much my Wife complains ! I see comments from sailors that i like, Patrick Laine, Learning by doning, and of Course Old seadog, thanks again and hope to see more coming videos from you !

Lovely video, music and editing. Have been to Norway a couple of times and it’s wonderful to it from your perspective. One can really appreciate the joy you take in your sailing solo. Thank you for sharing this.
Beautiful film from a beautiful part of the world. I lived up in Meløy for a year. Did kayaking, climbing, trekking, glaciertrekking. The geologi of the area are unique. The tracks from the ice is like made yesterday. From all the wilderness I've been to Glofjellet, nordland, Meløy, all the way from Mo i Rana to Bodø is the most diverse and magnificent. I biked south after one year, so i experienced all the coastline from Glomfjord to Trondheim. I recommend it to all. I can see that the glacier has pulled back a lot just since 2007. And the fishing is a s good as when I lived up there. Merci beaucoup.

Last year I sailed from Denmark to the Faroe Islands with my father. Your previous video was a big inspiration and motivation for me. Now I'm researching for a potential cruise to Lofoten next year and stumble upon your newest video. Needless to say I'm now dying to repeat the success! Hopefully I can convince the old man.
