  • This video tutorial covers how to create these colorful realistic looking, faux stained glass bottle lamps using Gallery Glass window colors and their liquid lead. Easy to follow instructions. These super cool wine bottle lamps make great recycling projects and wonderful Christmas gifts. To make things simpler you can substitute drilling the hole for the string of lights with a wine bottle cork light.

    A very good tutorial that is easy to understand. I like the fact that she showed to transfer the liquid leading to a smaller bottle with a tip that is smaller than the one on the Gallery Glass bottle. It makes the line smaller and less messy..

    How is it your glass paint doesn’t run?

    • @over60crafter
      @over60crafter  Před rokem

      I hold the bottle in the palm of my hand cover about half the bottle place it on the top of the fridge to dry then tackle the other half.You don't need to put it on so thick that it would run.

    • @over60crafter
      @over60crafter  Před 2 lety

      I think they might fade but I could be wrong.You would definitely need some sort of sealer as the paint itself won't hold up to the elements.

    • @over60crafter
      @over60crafter  Před 4 lety +2

      You won't get the transparent colored effect with acrylic.You could probably try mixing food coloring with a clear glue and paint it on.

    This is absolutely beautiful but this just proves that just because a persiin is a magificent artist they are not that intelligent with combining time with creation this is way too time comsuming way too many steps to the point of ridiculousness I would have to be on some serious OCD ish to waste this much time wirk smarter not hareder smh....

    • @over60crafter
      @over60crafter  Před 3 lety

      Thank you.It does not take long to do while half the bottle is drying (about an hour) you can do about 6-8 depending on how fast you are at freehand drawing.

      @msemoji1026 Před rokem +3

      SweetestSunflowers
      These creations she has made are what she likes to do, and it’s called ingenious crafting. There is nothing ridiculous about this, and she is highly intelligent to come up with such a beautiful idea! For someone like yourself to come on here and call her art ridiculous is just wrong on so many levels. Maybe you would be better off using your spare time to study the fundamentals of Grammar school English. Oh, but that might be too time consuming. Probably so many different steps, that you’d get confused to the point of ridiculousness! You ought to give this bottle craft a try, she was very precise and her directions were very easy to follow. You should try it before you knock it!
      Regards,
