@@ahmadsalmanalnor9911 yeah true, but i imagine it'll most likely be better than actually being murdered, or dying of certain illnesses that can cause a lot of suffering, or drowning in literal shit (yes, that actually happens). It's hard to determine the most painless deaths, but i think dying in your sleep will be one of the more 'painless' ones.

One of the scariest deaths while asleep occurred in Florida a few years ago. While a man was in bed, a 200-foot-deep sinkhole opened up right below his bedroom. His remains were never found.

Many of the sinkholes around the Caribbean basin, especially around the Yucatan peninsual (and cinotes) are the results of the meteor impact which killed the dinosaurs.
The cracks in the earth's crust caused by the impact would get eroded by millions of years of rainfall, creating the slowly growing underground caverns. Under which the surface would sometimes collapse.

Thanks for making the stomach ulcher road to death a part of the list. Almost died from that myself. Aren't many that have even heard that this very common condition can become deadly if left untreated for too long. Actually dying from it nowadays is exceedingly rare. Most people get to the hospital pretty darn fast when they start throwing up large amounts of blood after all. And it's easy to treat with even over the counter medications as well.

Actually when I was 1 year old my mother was overfeeding me with carrots (it was home made carrot juice, ~70% carrots ~30% water). My skin turned a little yellow and she thought I was just "sunbathing a lot", thankfully I had my doctor which looked at me and literally told my mother that she's crazy because she gave me (daily) equivalent of 10+ carrots a day for ~a week. So yeah I almost died of a liver failure.
+ two years ago I was so obese that my liver had fat in it (my x-ray doctor showed me the fat on life rentgen) so I actually almost died of liver damage TWICE in my (so far) 18 year life. Nice.
(I'm czech so sorry for misspells or any weird arrangement of words)

@Gavin Well I almost died but I didn't so it is a way to live, lol.
@@thestargateking Of course not... she was just a bit dumber in chemistry, biology and physics (when she was in school she almost failed...) so she couldn't really understand how much she could hurt me doctor just told her what she shouldn't do and that carrots do not help your eyes develop etc. She breastfed me till I was FOUR YEARS OLD, almost no mother does that yet it's the best for the child. Afterall of that I like my father more, he's more skilled (wood working, computing, fences, house building and repairing, he just knows a lot), caring and kind. (but not too kind, like giving me everything I wanted/want etc., ideal father in my opinion)

Sidenote: if I wanted to lose weight I'd have to eat less than 1300 Kcal a day... Which is impossible for me (but I drink only water and restrict sugar and cholesterol because I want my heart to be healthy)

When I was 6 years old, the elementary school on the next street had a gas leak over a three day weekend and when the temperature dropped at about 4 am after three days of natural gas filling the sealed up buildings, the pilot light came on and blew the entire school sky high. There was a literal crater in the ground where the school had been...
For YEARS after, all you had to do to get out school was tell the teacher you smelled gas fumes. They would practically throw you out...we spent years in mobile home trailers that stood in for classrooms, but gas leak fears raged no matter what...
It made such an impression on me that to this day, any smell of natural gas brings back vivid flashback memories of standing in the street outside our house, watching debris raining down and flames a hundred feet high...and our normally staid neighbors in their underwear and curlers (the 60s) having full on hysterics, thinking someone had dropped the bomb...

Actually, it turned out that if school had been open, someone would have smelled the gas and all the open doors and windows would have kept it from collecting.. it was a horrible series of events that kept everything sealed up tight for so long, a cold snap coming, a 3 day weekend, then the cold hitting right at the moment when the school had been filling with gas for 3 days, the perfect storm, or blow up...
Nowadays, someone would have accused the principal of an "inside job", and claimed there is no way natural gas could have blown the school that completely away...
(It was fully investigated in any case)

• The one where they guy killed himself in his sleep is terrifying because it could happen to anyone. Anyone can have a sleep-walking event even if you've never sleep-walked before. What if it happens while dreaming about doing something deadly like cutting yourself, jumping off the roof, or whatever. It sounds like something out of _Nightmare on Elm St._ . Also, he specifically wrote it wasn't suicide, but they still ruled it as a suicide. That's not fair (and potentially also screws over any beneficiary if he had life-insurance). 😒

Sometimes lactose and other intolerances are caused by stomach ulcers and will go away if removed.
You really have to start worrying whenever your ulcer makes you vomit after every meal.
Must mean that your body prefers to eat itself over actual food at that point.

I've ended up in a stuck elevator twice in my life.
The first time, I actually had to do that scary crawl-out with about a 2 or 3 foot tall space between the floor of the elevator and the ceiling outside. Like seeing yourself in a horror movie. Complete with the building guy, who manually opened the door from outside, telling us "it's perfectly safe to squeeze out. The elevator won't fall, I swear."

There was a case on a small island. A Taxidriver got a guest, they drove to a crossing; killing a scooter driver. Some time later, the same Taxidriver, killed the brother(riding a scooter) of the first scooter victim, at the same crossing..., with same guest on bord. When I was 17 I died while climbing a ladder in shop class. They never gave me a clear diagnosis. They just said it was sudden death syndrome. So don't worry about dying in your sleep, it can just as easily happen when you're awake :)
