If anybody is curious, Percy is now an armed guard at a Austin gun store. Percy getting fired from his old job is honestly a blessing in disguise for him.

That lady made the job look worse than he ever could by screaming at him on camera that is so unprofessional.

Facts. If it was a heroic moment they wouldn't have cared. They would have been all over multiple news stations giving him his flowers (to make themselves look good) and tooting their company's horn.

Everything is not Percy's fault! That's a tired trifling supervisor! She needs to sit her a*s down somewhere!

The situation with the police out here in ATX is truly comical. We had a whole thing with serial k*****g near Downtown lake (I used to work near the lake). Its truly wild

I know a lot of people are not gonna like this, but yes the security guard is at fault for the ESCALATION. As a guard myself, you are trained to be a deterrent NOT a police officer or a hero! Objectively speaking, no one in their right mind would chase after two hoodlums over someone else’s stuff. I mean imagine if they had a gun! He chased them because it was HIS car they tried to steal and he wanted to make sure they got caught. Although I definitely can understand that, he violated protocol and procedures chasing them, also doing that interview. …and just for the record, they do not care if it would’ve been something heroic. My brother stopped a man from continuing to beat his gf. Police reports and witnesses to vouch for him and they still fired him. The situation is really unfortunate and I hope this young bounces back 10 fold.

They were just looking for a reason to fire your brother or that's not the whole story because i worked at Walmart 20 yrs ago and the many fights or thefts that employees had to intervened in & stopped & they were never terminated
