@Paintballboy54 You can start at an arrive and drive level with karts not nearly as fast as this one, but they are awesome nailing down the basics of driving, and you just show up, race and come home and dont need to own the kart or work on it. Most people start this way to see if racing is what they actually enjoy and want to put more money into. Starting at this level will run you about $1000-$1200 for a whole year.

@hotrodcub128 Yes it was filmed with the gopro, and the gopro chest mount. I'm going to look for ways to better improve the stability of the camera.

@96motorhead Very few tracks actually have shifter kart classes now days.
@kirksajerk This is one of the slower tracks, we normally hitting well over 100-110kph at most tracks.
@FRYEGUY247 Yeah I mainly decided to use the chest mount because I wanted to better analyze my driving, the side view wouldnt provide me with the view I'd want.

You need a shifter kart. Screw the one speed.

@nitromad48 Haha i live in spain i was racing the wintercup with a leopard that was BEAST but i need a x30 for racing next year
@96motorhead No they would be drivable on this track but very few people are actually physically capable of handling those speeds, and shifters are just way to expensive to run so very few people actually run them now days.
@IRISH0627 I actually couldnt tell you, my telementry system doesnt provide me with average or top speed right now.
Hey what city is this in i live near you and want to go check it out, is the track open to public or do you need to have your own kart to race and, what do you have to do to get to be able to drive the kart that you have in your video?

@traxxas5308 haha yeah its a great game but nothing compares like being in the real thing, this video does very little justice to how fast I'm actually going ;)

I always thought the shifter karts were cool. They do like 120 mph. Do they go to fast for the track.
hey josh this is marcel, the guy you were trying to help to fix my nitro rustler over the phone a while back it was like what 8 months ago .... so anyways im getting back into the hobby and i was wondering what do u recommend ..... geting a baja 5b kit and build it or not get the baja and get into kart racing ?? let me kno what you think i should do .. thanks

I think is not enough funny without gear (it's funny anyway, but no as like when you have 6 gears to change :D)
x30 only allowd to use better tyres than MOJO D2!

LOL. The karts are not very realistic at all, but the rest of the game is. Acceleration times are terrible and the physics need a little bit of work.
If you want to have a real blast on a Rotax Max, get off that shitty course and go to a real one, like Mosport. Goodwood sucks!
