AI Music will sometime ad lib some of the lyrics but these are the basic lyrics:
The only edits made to the lyrics were to replace " E’en tho’ " with "Even though," and to replace "o’er" with "over. Also to repeat the chorus as the original only has the chorus once. Full original lyrics listed at the bottom.
    When You Were Sweet Sixteen
    [Verse 1]
When first I saw the love light in your eye
And heard your voice, like sweetest melody
Speak words of love to my enraptured soul
The world had naught but joy in store for me
    [Verse 2]
Even though we’re drifting down life’s stream apart
Your face I still can see in dream’s domain
I know that it would ease my breaking heart
To hold you in my arms just once again
    [Chorus]
I love you as i never loved before
Since first i met you on the village green
Come to me or my dream of love is over
I love you as i loved you
    When you were sweet sixteen
    [Verse 3]
Last night I dreamt I held your hand in mine
And once again you were my happy bride
I kissed you as I did in “Auld Lang Syne”
As to the church we wandered side by side
    [Chorus]
I love you as i never loved before
Since first i met you on the village green
Come to me or my dream of love is over
I love you as i loved you
    When you were sweet sixteen
    [Verse 4]
The love I bear for you can never die
Without you I had rather not been born
And even though we never meet again
I love you as the sunshine loves the morn
    [Chorus]
I love you as i never loved before
Since first i met you on the village green
Come to me or my dream of love is over
I love you as i loved you
    When you were sweet sixteen
    [Guitar Solo]

If you know any public domain songs that you would like to see on the channel, feel free to comment on this pinned comment and I will look into it. Also what style would you like it to be? The only edits made to the lyrics were to replace " E’en tho’ " with "Even though," and to replace "o’er" with "over. Also to repeat the chorus as the original only has the chorus once. Awesome song and awesome voice. Hard to believe that's an AI voice. None of the autotune sound so many have.

Thank you. I do love that voice also. I have a prompt I use that almost always gets me that voice when it fits what I want in a song.

    who sings this song?

I think quite a few have sung it over the years. The first I am aware of was Harry MacDonough in 1901. Of course my version is sung by AI, specifically Udio.
