Suggestion : You are well organised BUT you can always improve....please invest in a mind map tool. I seen you invest in a very disciplined organization style...with large overhead on you to maintain the organizational structure and data. Minimise overhead on structure by using a mind map to pull data together in forms that make easy to find remember and visualise Maximize your potential productivity to focus on the content I use SIMPLEMIND PRO - check out website or their CZcams channel only day videos....website is best to see most czcams.com/video/ahqHYTaMTEU/video.html I'm a user of app just like you with no affiliation no kick back or payment etc It has free version and and for pro version It costs a few pounds get the pro version for all features updates ....get the pro version....don't even test the free community version it is just that good ! SMP has very good feature list continually being updated by developer. Developer responds well to enhancement requests from me and you. He manages software development professionally so zero bugs do far that I have seen .he is a team not just an individual developer I think. Product is mature has Been around now since early 2010 I think. It is installed on portable device and desktop (windows) so you can access maps across all platforms from any where. Unlike basic map tools this Mindmap will link ANYTHING to ANYTHING : documents, urls, CZcams's, mp3, anything that helps you Including creating cross linking that breaks traditional mind map modelling ( drilldown and up way of organization. Think web links to get a feel for cross linking.) I use MAP like you visually - as a memory jogger and master index with drill down - I consume summary points, basic notes, and detailed text diagrams etc. - i create a summaries in node form and create links back to the source data I can constantly review notes, research original text used to create reviews and extend map to organize / update notes Everytime I think of something new. I see you are doing same but with far more physical administrative overhead because you are limited by the tools used. I have a 3dimensional index effectively...a MASTER MINDMAP which calls any number of SUB MINDMAPS Maps have a superb layout see me templates....10+ layout types.....from standard bendy spider maps to visually structured horizontal or vertical listings. Visual organisation is really well implemented so you are effective immediately in your notes creation You can also FOCUS on any area of map : the whole map, groups of nodes or individual nodes, You can edit save and backup to local device or cloud ...for safety if your laptop phone etc dies before you get chance to save work You can access & work from anywhere .in both desktop mode or portable device mode. You can importantly PRINT anything in full or in part for creating nice physical colured document to carry around and highlight. You are physically doing what this MIND MAP too can do for you. Lol....I shall stop now as I am a fan as you can see. Look it up...SIMPLEMIND PRO...you will thank me since you are so disciplined...

Use these cards to learn your courses. Make a lot of quiz and mock exams to check your knowledge. I fell like I'm doing my notes for Nothing. I write them but then I dont have any Energy to study from it. I REALLY hope your video will make me change it!!! Your my inspiration ❤️

General rule of thumb 1. Only make notes in second reading of a textbook 2. Notes must be 30% or less lengthy than original copy Try this and it works ❤️

Do you read one course per day,if you're reading Jurisprudence for example on Monday and Contract on Wednesday, and have a contract essay to turn in on Tuesday, do you set contract for monday instead and Jurisprudence on Wednesday. When the literary scholar in me dies because of the highlighter and pen in a book (instead of a pencil; and don't get me started on post-its) but the productivity nerd in me loves the method and has an itch under it's nails to start doing notes too... :D
The worse is highlighting is inefficient ^^' ! It's pretty, you think your know your course but it's not a good technique to memorize. It's too passive.

Thank you! I have my own printer as well but I mostly use the university one as it's faster and actually cheaper. I don't really have any recommendations for printers - I just bought a cheap one off amazon!

Hii Elena! I wanted to ask you something about your morning routine before the quarantine. You also wake up at 5 a.m. on weekends or sleep later? For my part before the quarantine I wake up at 6am when I went to school and on weekends I slept later. I can't wake up earlier in the weekend because I'm tired after my whole week and I need more sleep. I would have liked your experience on your morning routine and your sleep during the weekend. Thank you for your answer and I hope you understand my english (I'm French) ;)
Hi! I don't force myself to wake up at 5 on the weekend necessarily but I sometimes set an alarm - it really depends on when I go to bed and what I am planning to do the next day :)
As somebody who alreasy has a nice windows desktop, would it be better for me to get an ipad or just invest in a macbook air or even a chromebook for campus note taking and typing?

Be mindful when you read. Dont forget you're reading and focus on one thing
Focus on structure and link all of facts on your main structure and periodic repetition can help.

@@Endorphinn_ For memorising, it is indeed not good but If you need to find certain quotes again (for an analysis for example) it is highly effective.

Hi! They're a summary though still pretty detailed and it does take me quite some time but the exact amount of time I need depends on the topic :)
