    Almost all names that are not English/American are pronounced completely wrong here. If interested, go to Vfiles channel to get the right pronunciation.

    - Balmain: Bahl-meh
    - Hermès: Her-mess
    - Comme des Garcons: Kohm deh Garsson (without the "n" at the end)

      +Heather B My mom owns his Romance fragrance and will pronounce it that way when she talks about her go-to perfume. I really don't see there being a conflict with the difference, as thousands of people are probably pronouncing it the plain way all the time.

I have one like it in my office (at home, a lot smaller). Would you ever consider diving into giving blogging tips? How to grow in it? How to manage ideas? They're constantly flying out of me, but more often than not I feel too litter, too inadequate. That in itself is a problem.

    Gosh It's not hard to say Demna Gvasalia, sounds like for Americans everything is hard to pronounce, if it's not English. Very easy to read Georgian names, or Georgian in general. You read and pronounce the way, it's written.

    Monique Lhuiller is Filipino and we actually pronounce her last name differently: loo-wil-yer.
    I'm not sure where the name actually originates from (maybe Spanish) as we have been colonized by them. I believe the correct pronunciation of anything is determined by the very person that started or owns it.

      not at all. She's French and Filipino, her father's French, her mom's Filipino. Her name is her father's name, so it's French and it's pronounced MOH NEEK LUH EEL YEAH

    Actually, you pronounce Demna's name wrong. You should pronounce his name without applying English or French rules of omitting certain letters in certain situations. So you should pronounce G "in Gvasalia" and you should say D-e-mna, not D-i-mna. Both - name and last name are of Georgian origins and we pronounce all the letters incorporated in the name.

    Demna Gvasalia is Demna Gvasalia. I am georgian and I know it 100%. We don't have silent letters. We pronounce every 33 letter, that we have.

    the "an" is Lanvin is not a sound that exists in English but if you know how to pronounce the sound "em" in the french word " temps" meaning " time" or the " an in " anglais " as for "English " you will get it right.

    Some of the French brands are not pronounced correctly : Hermès not with a Z at the end but an S, it’s not Lanvine but Lanvin. Anyway, I’ll still pronounce Levi’s the French way cause it’s horrible in English.
