Victor Jory also portrayed Judge Roy Bean in a 1969 film: “A Time For Dying”. Film had me crying at the end. Love your narrations and videos. Can just imagine cattle drives, lonesome nights out under the stars and crossing the Pecos River on horseback. Your narratives help us relive history and how this Country was shaped! God bless you and stay safe!

Well done Mr. Skinner. I drove down to Del Rio and Langtry about 10 years ago and was BLOWN away by the beauty of the area, etc. I highly recommend anyone interested in going down for a visit in person.

I've always found Roy Bean to be a fascinating character, proof that real life creates bigger characters than any fiction author ever could. Thanks for this.

It's a shame that the judge couldn't have lived long enough to meet her when she stopped at the town.

When I was a little feller I went to the movie theatre to watch "The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean" starring Newman. Loved it. Many years later as an adult I saw it and thought it a horrid production. Perspective. Ah well the Judge did live and interesting life. Thanks for the video Mr. Skinner.

The histories of the "Old West" are some of the most interesting histories of all and Jerry puts them over so very well.
