  • The Pilatus PC-24 aircraft is both beauty and beast. With payload beefed up to 1,300 pounds, customers can carry more on board, flying six passengers up to 2,000 nautical miles, while landing and taking off from rough surfaces. Inside, elegant new cabin features have made it a more comfortable ride, and seats and furniture can be easily moved to suit the needs of different groups of passengers.

    I know they pride themselves on that large cargo door. But they should make that optional with an actual proper lavatory. The size of the passenger fuselage is amazing is definitely the best out of all 3(300 & cj4). But again, for 12 mil, their performance numbers should be in align with the other 2. And, sorry, give up on the current avionics used and just go with garmin already like everyone else.

    I'd sacrifice the cargo area a bit for a decent lavatory. That front area where the current 'toilet' is can be used as a stowage area for a couple smaller carry-ons and smaller bags (backpacks/duffel bags, etc).

    If I had the cash for it, I'd get one and have it outfitted for medical transport to move patients for various procedures that may not be available in their area. That cargo door makes that a possibility.

    Any chance of thrust reversers being designed and installed on the PC-24 for the FJ-44 engines?

    • @LBCORP1960
      @LBCORP1960 Před 7 měsíci +3

      No need. Very slow landing speed and heavy duty brakes make reversers unnecessary.

    • @theowinosowino5814
      @theowinosowino5814 Před 6 měsíci +2

      It’s a small aircraft that reversers would really damage the airframe component. I don’t think they are needed. They should have added a n APU instead

    BMW is NOT luxury, MERCEDES and MAYBACH is luxury and can make waaaaaaaaaaaaay higher quality seats and interior, so if you can get them to do the interior I may be interested. BMW is for arrogant youth with no sense for anyone else on the road.

      They did say they made 700 structural changes… I’m also a structural engineer for 30 plus years and 600lbs is quite a bit but absolutely doable. Beautiful aircraft. Love that big cargo door.

    It looks nice but it is not as strong as a Cessna. I would feel safer in the citation airplane because it is built in the us. This airplane is built in another country and they don’t have the same safety standards as in America.
