This was one of the first games I got with my N64 as a kid 🥲 The nostalgia hit hard
The RIse of the Black Dogs campaign (among many others) now exist as Steam Workshop items (mods that you can enable/disable). Dedicated players have ported all sorts of mods - old and new - and they are polished and incredible. I have played, streamed, and shared many of them with my brother from when we were both 5 first starting to play this game together with zero issues.

I played this game on PC back in the day. I still remember how confused I was because it was really something different. Eventually, when I understood the game and learned how to play it, it became one of my favorites
Love the premise of this series! I had a lot of fun times with 3rd party releases on the N64. I hope you cover Rocket: Robot on Wheels, Wetrix, World Driver Championship, Iss 64, Space Station Silicon Valley or Hybrid Heaven in future episodes. 😊
I’ve been a fan from back when i first played it in 99 at age 9 I never knew it was ported this is so cool wish the remake had added the other modes
Battlezone 64 was my favorite. I love the black dogs. You can probably tell by my name. When I got battlezone 98 reduced and I saw it had the black dog campaign, I was disappointed that it wasn't the 64 campaign.

This and battletanks were bar far my FAVORITE games on the 64. And my friends agreed apparently because it was not smash bros they asked for when we were able to play it was those two n64 has so many hidden gems man butt

The fact this game is as limited attention as it has is a travesty. Doing what they did with a game in the 90's on N64 they set the bar quite literally in outer space.
