    I have never been really, really impressed with polymer clay for jewelry pieces, until I started seeing yours. I am so highly impressed with the results of your work that now I would love to try working with polymer clay. I know I would never achieve your level of talent, but your work and jewelry make it worth the effort of trying to learn. What I really love is the way that you make the clay look so much like gemstone. It’s amazing! You’re very gifted! Thank you for these wonderful, enjoyable videos. From a new fan in Texas, USA.✨✨✨

    This is gorgeous, as all of your pieces! I think maybe if you use hard gel/builder gel for nail art, it might make your job easier in keeping the dome on your piece from spilling over the frame, it's less runny than epoxy resin ☺

    This is a different look than I would normally search out, but you have done such a beautiful job!!! I just wonder if the front is baked when you are working with the back or if it is all to be baked at the same time. I think I would be a mess if the front isn't baked while working on the back. I may have to watch it again and I would see for sure. This is probably my favorite of your videos to watch. Thanks for sharing!

    not sure how people could complain about the music. clearly they don't know what the mute button is.... especially since you don't talk in your videos....BUT ANYWAY YOU lol loved this video! you have such a unique feel to your jewelry. and I think the technique you did here is the best faux Labradorite I've ever seen. when you moved the piece you made it had pretty much the same effect as the real stone!!! thanks k you so much for the video. you make the most amazing things

      PropheticEnvy - may I offer a perspective on music? When I heard it in first video once I discovered Ludmila's channel - I liked it a lot actually - I thought it was cool!! However... after watching A LOT of her videos... and I meant I watch A LOT of them if not all :) - this music is in every single one of them. And after you heard it about 10 times - you start getting this eye twitch every time you hear it again lol. I personally mute her videos right away when I watch for that reason - I cannot hear that music another time - it is driving me nuts. Would absolutely love to hear her do a voice over every so often. Many people, myself included, watch the video with one eye so to speak and listen while working on their art. The level of expertise required to follow Ludmila's work is not for a newbie - so those people that have experience working with clay will not be staring at every step - they will be working thru the video. This is why some artists may voice a preference for voice overs. I personally prefer a voice over. Even with accents - accents rule! Особенно русские! I am personally patiently awaiting a video with a voice over and maybe a video with different music :). For the time being - I will just mute the music but keep on watching all your videos Luda! Your work is amazing - keep knocking everyone's socks off!!! :)

    Just a tip for the resin, try and buy a “doming” resin.

    Thank you for sharing this beautiful technique. I was inspired to try to make my own, but it didnot turn out the same. When I I did the cut cut cut, no dark lines appeared in the clay underneath--just cut marks. Do you know what I might be doing wrong? Do you think I might need a blade that is thicker or less sharp so it pushes more and cuts less? Thank you for any suggestions. Lynn

    Have you ever seen Fordite? It's not a gemstone, it is a result of paint being applied to cars in the factory (years ago) and people cut and polished chunks of the hardened puddles of paint into beautiful stones for art and jewelry. You can Google it and see some of the images. I've been trying but my attempts to create a faux piece have been poor so far. I keep trying every now and then, because it's so pretty, with so many different colors and layers. The layers are very thin, and vary randomly. It allows freedom to play with colors and shapes.

  • @lynnseresin8305
    @lynnseresin8305 Před 6 lety

    I love your videos! Just one question...I sand my finished cabochons using polishing papers but I'm unable to get a super-glossy finish. I've even tried Renaissance wax. My cabs work up a soft, satin-like shine, which is nice, but often I would like a glass-like finish. I've read that baking pieces longer than what the package recommends makes the finished piece harder and easier to sand to a luster. I also noticed you use a power buffing wheel as your last step. Should i look into getting a power buffer? Hand-buffing just doesn't seem to be doing the trick.
