Super high energy, physical, nice control and likes to make things happen. I’m super confidant a lot of fans will regret doubting him so much.
He's going to silence his critics... very good signing. Major improvement in squad depth quality...
"Mount comes on for Eriksen" ... no significant drop off in quality, more energy.
Too much was paid for him though. One year left on his contract and a very poor season which he hardly played.

This is 100% an Erickson replacement, Erickson although class can’t do a full 90min, I mean really he falls off after 40min and it was a big issue as he couldn’t track back and allowed players to walk past him leaving gaps in our midfield. Mount has pace and can run for a full 90. We can now rotate Erickson bring him on with 30fps to go etc to change it up rather than start him.
Athleticism and finishing. That’s what he has over Eriksen. And this is a big trade up. I can the club scoring a few more goals extra
deffo, Erickson looked great at the start but he just withers out during games and becomes a huge weak point in the team leaving space everywhere. Mount will track back.
ERiksen legs are too old...he can't run. Mount has the Athleticism

I think it's a mastermind move by ETH. All 3 Utd MDs (Case/Erik/Bruno) are good long passers but they lack pace, dribbling and ball carrying, which is war Mount will exactly bring to the table. Also he has the tenacity and ability which Erikson lacks. I have a feeling he will have a good chem with Sancho if he still stays at the club.

This signing unlocks many varioations. Eriksen can play cam, or supersub. Mount can play 10, left wing, 8. Bruno same. No need to go for bench, eth can change in mid game tactics. Bruno can rest.

I'm not bitter. I'm happy Mount is a United player, but I just think United paid too much for him, especially because a striker is still needed.
How anyone doesn't like Mason Mount is beyond me. The kid was voted Chelsea player of the season at least once maybe twice. He scores with both feet. Great progressive passer. Great at set pieces. He works his ass off. He is young. He always was a player I always watched for when we played Chelsea. He makes us better, there is no doubt.

I for one am happy with this signing. The timing is unfortunate… we need a number 9, a keeper and desperately await to see if our rat infestation of owners are finally letting the club go
He’s decent I think. Plenty of energy and determination, great depth for number 8. Could start him and bring Eriksen on towards the end to run the show as he does from midfield. Or bring Mason on for Eriksen in the second half for more pressing and pace
It’s a win win situation either way for United. Plus he can play on the wing, or as depth for number 10. Happy with it

So Mount and Bruno , i am not sure who will player left or right ,we will see but i actually expect Bruno on the right and Mount left but there will a lot of rotation between them in between the lines. I think it will work in attack not sure in defence, but they have decent workrate.
If he is utilized as an 8, then we need casemiro cover. We cant have him play all the games

No hate on Mount whatsoever but we should be really signing a striker. We don’t have a reliable striker going into next season, hate to jinx it but it feels like Martial is gonna be injured again very soon. We can’t always count on Rashy alone to give us goals.

I feel like he is our De Jong replacement. He is a good ball carrier/dribbler and is decent at playmaking. If he improves his playmaking and scores more, he would be a top talent.

@@DigitalJuggernaut Well de Jong is more of playmaker, carries the ball better and is much better during build-up, especially close to the teams own half. He would encourage a more ball possession based style. Mount on the other hand is more of a dynamic midfielder that works very hard off the ball and will be great for winning the ball higher up. Also, he is much more effective and offers a lot inside the opponents half with good one twos, off the ball movement, and he is a danger in the box. If you have watched United this season Ten Haag often played Bruno out wide on the right and deployed Weghorst, Sabitzer, even Fred and Mctominey at times behind the striker. He did that to ensure a high press is effective, not because the above were great at that position. Mount can be great at that role and will help United massively with great pressing, ball winning, and subsequent movement off the ball in a high counter press.

He's more of a natural deeper lying mid than Eriksen and is more direct, and has actually played at the highest level for a good couple of years. Doesn't have the killer pass Eriksen has, but he's tenacious and could be a good signing for United, and has goals in him. Needed backup to Eriksen. Now a striker and GK.
Good work ethic in traning but average ability and selfish on the pitch. Getting between 55-60 mil for him is criminal he should only be worth 40-45 mil especially due to him having one year left on his contract.
