Can't wait for dev to add difficulty options, it's way too easy to snowball right now after you've learned the game a bit. With a pistol start and some luck you can take down Lazar and have mostly repaired AKM after the first hunt. :P Also, imo you shouldn't feel bad about bailing in the early game even if you just arrived and found whatever you're looking for right away. Doesn't matter how much loot you collect in a hunt if you die at the end. ^_^
This game definitely surprised me when i first played it been hooked ever sense haha, With more updates and maybe even mod support it will be on another lever in the future and yeah Mr. junk may be a little wacky but that armor reward is really nice early on!

just wanted to point out, if you are already encumbered and moving slowly you could have taken that mosin as well, wouldn't have changed anything.
Yeah i should have at least tried to take it i just thought i wouldn't be able to move lol
