“I would’ve sold it for less than $50 grand.”
What a f*cking G, lmao.
How was he a G for saying that ?
@@unlimitedandroidarmy9269 because he didn't show that he was willing to go lower during the negotiation.
He lost 25 grand 😂😂😂 nothing g about that.
@@mrexclusive5406 possibly. If he went to an auction house, he'd have to pay a percentage rate. If he's lucky, it would've sold for 6 figures and he'd get around 75k after fees.
@@mrexclusive5406 He had no intention of actually selling it for that price. You have no idea how to negotiate.
this is an insult to the Rebecca fan community
That pez guy will never be forgotten😂😂😂
Haha they’re all fools! Books not looks is the motto that will last longer
tbh she would of raised the price of the book towards 100k+
who
Rebecca who? 🤣
Rick was about to have a stroke for a $2K difference 😂
Uh huh.Espescially knowing it's worth $75K.💃🏿🍒💃🏿
No way. He was faking it. He would have paid $65k
Lmaooo 💀
I think the issue was that Rick was already spending soo much, so even going 2k more would stress him out.
@@jlconver he wanted it bad 🤣
“NO it’s GOTTA be 50” “I’m so pleased.. I would’ve sold it for less than 50” FINESSE KING
So he says.
You guys wanted to see Rebecca, I wanted to see the full segment where this guy owns Rick's soul.
Everett01 that lasts seconds seen rick against the wall were priceless and worth it and satisfying ☺️
@Oliver_B nah man shes got a hubby
Every time Rebecca's name comes up I'm going to remind the general public that she is not that hot if even hot at all. Yeah she's ok but my god get over it.
@Rebecca - She's basically the only woman on the show, which greatly increases her perceived attractiveness.
@@EGarrett01 you hit the nail on the head. Put her in a crowd at the California state fair and no one would give a second look.
I love it when someone gets the privilege of strong arming Rick.
I think we all do haha
And when Rick sells it for $80,000 he won't mind what the seller did.
The seller came down $25,000 and Rick came up $10,000, where is the strong arming?
Rich was sweating on this deal
@@TheMacC117 Well, the guy was expecting way less than 50 000. He probably wanted 38 000$ for it and doubled the price to make sure he could get at least the amount he wanted. On the on the hand, Rick is sure to make money out of it too, so win-win situation. You gotta watch the video up to the very end,
Let me call a buddy of mine who knew Thomas Jefferson
*Thomas Jefferson is coming
Mulyadi Mustamin what?
And isn't Rebecca. Boooo!!!
Mark Hall-Patton walks in.
And then your mom walks in.
His grandfather made a pretty good $0.15 investment.
Jefferson bought it for .15
About $3 today.
@@Leavon No, it was his great-great grandfather that bought it from Jefferson's estate sale for $0.15.
A neat little price increase of 33,3 million percent
...well it didn't pay off for great granfather but for his great grandson it surely did...xD
That is NOT Rebecca
Well put a wig on Rick since you have that taste Spencer!
Guys Rebecca is another book expert
We want to see Rebecca !!!
Sean Ryan SHUT UP NOW
Yes it is.
The price of this book just added another wrinkle to Rick's forehead.
$10 sucky sucky? You love me long time?
Lol
If ur actually Chinese and funny. You should do some stand up.
How abt that, Chi chan and chin chan finally meet.
😂😂
loled at "let me have it for 48", that's the first time I've ever seen Rick beg. He was getting desperate.
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂I thought he was finna faint
It's so nice for a change see him sweat
It was so satisfying.
How quickly and the way he agreed to 50k clearly shows he was just putting on a show. worst acting ever. lol
Wow! Rick got outnegotiated HARD. We'll rarely see that.
The seller even said that he would sell it for less than for 50,000 $ 😂
Rick was not letting that book walk out the door....
Rick: lemme call expert
Rick later: ill give u 5 bucks and a half eaten sandwich for it
Rigoberto Sosa cheapskake? Want some cheesecake?
AngryChineseKid wow. Don’t be a comedian buddy
KevinKoontzKing then what do i become? A troll for u?
They left it on the counter and walked away... Like it was nothing.
I love it when a seller on the show actually knows how to negotiate. Rick is so used to steamrolling everyone, and so when someone comes along who can go toe-to-toe with him it’s always super fun to watch.
This guy knows how to handle Rick.. brilliant. I always think 60% of the selling price is a good enough deal. So this according to me is a great deal.
Well, it's more 66%.
Rick liked it, that's all
Wait ya guys watch this?
yeah. rick definitely loves presidential items..
Because that’s pretty much the margin he needs to make a net.
This man matched all of ricks negotiating tactics lol
Rick: "I'm taking all the risk here by NOT calling in Rebecca."
Whats with all the Rebecca comments? Lul
Hole in Dans Sock because she’s hot

yeah, no way rick is selling it lmao
Unless, the Old Man had Chum sell it for a commission before Rick could buy it, like that incubale book
It was fir TV
rick knew becca would have gotten the guy even more money
I doubt. She always lowballs.
@@Yorubulut Nah she's very reasonable
GatzMaximus nah she always prices it too high
@@hiro7489 Fair enough, I thought her prices were reasonable but then again it's all for ratings

Click bait title, everyone expected Rebecca when they saw book.
I wanted joe BAHAMA MAMA instead
Me too, I was expecting that becca will show up
Yes😂😂
Yeah. They trolled us here like the Trolololo guy in your picture has done to everybody.
It’d be great if Pawn Stars would do a series of the shop SELLING these items and how much they sold them for. An “ROI” type series
@FreedomFTR.
They can't. It would expose just how much the original seller was undercut and short changed.
They showed some sales in the clips of celebrities coming into the shop, they bought some stuff.
Well... I wouldn't call some of these short change.
Where else can they sell their rare items and get 50k solid (non-taxable) cash on hand?
Auctions have fees, and are taxable. Also you may never find demand to meet the reserve price in the first place. So yeah, pawning is some fast, straight cash. In this case, would rather lose out on 25k that I may never get, and let Rick and Co stress over how to get it sold. 50k cash on hand, I walk hassle free into the sunset. Just my 2 cents though.
Never ceases to amaze me with all of the options out there someone would take an item as valuable as this to a pawn shop.
Something you rarely hear on Pawn Stars “I would have sold it for less than 50 grand” 😂
Kevin Mark I was hella surprised when he said that. 😂
Why were you surprised when he said that ?
@Peacock Feathers he was ready to get lowballed xD
Comments: 1% book
99% Disapointment
More like 1% book
99% rebecca 🤣
Guy: Leaves store
Rick: sells on e bay for 100k in less than an hour
I love when Rick gets super excited and ends up giving in to the customer it seems so painful for him
Pure agony! It was hilarious to watch! 😅😅
This is disrespectful to the Rebeca lover community
That guy has got to be my favorite seller so far on the show. He was awesome. I love how he straight-up said that he would have sold it for less than $50k while having that smug grin on his face.haha
4:49 thats how every person feels inside when they sell something to the pawnshop. Tables turnt😂
I've never seen the bald man himself so scared in any other episode when they were haggling.
But, only one question...
Where's rebbeca.?
In my home
Azim Virani she was pregnant during this time.
Book pawn and no hot Rebecca? My Christmas is ruined 😔

Not gonna lie love when rick is like this
This comment made my night 😂 😉
Black.Flaps .Dont.Match Calm down kid.
Ive never seen someone put Rick in this much level of despair. 🤣😂

How did Rick get owned ?
One of a kind book value at 75k would definitely sell for 150k at auction. Rick isn't losing any money off 50k price
One of my favorite clips. Cool book. Accurate appraisal. Nervous Rick. They both did well, awesome!
Seller hears expert is a he.
Seller: I'm not sure the expert would know exactly what this is.
Bring back Rebecca.
Rebecca still consults for the show, but she lives on the East Coast. They try to arrange to film the book segments when she flies out to Vegas, but this may have taken place a couple of months afterwards
He puts on such an act when he argues over $2,000 in order to seem like he stupid to do such a thing but little do we know, Rick has a list of people he believes will buy it for $75,000 within a few months at most. You have to admit it works though.
or for more than 75K
asyouratty13 It sold for 106,000!!
Rick loves early Americana, couldn’t resist
How many people are now writing “T” before the “l” in all their old books ?
So thats where the rapper got his name
This book is CRAZY expensive
Rick: "Best I can do is crazy cheap"
Gloves people ,let's use them when handling.
You NEVER use gloves on old books. Never ever. Gloves are more likely to catch and tear the pages, which skin will not do. Just have clean hands.
@@BooksUnboxed what about book gloves?
Zac Crow My granfather Sold antique books for his whole life, ne never wore gloves, not even on those 250 k books from sixteenhundred and something.
This is a common misconception. Gloves don't actually help maintain the integrity of old books. The recommended consensus from book experts is that using bare but clean hands is the best method to handling old books.
Jason N wtf is a book glove.
I LOVE it when the last thing the seller says is "I wouldve sold it for less than (the price they got)" 🤣👊🤣
Expert opens book and gives a quick glance: “Yea. Definitely Jefferson’s handwriting.”
I see a book on Pawn Stars' show....I go watching it...Cause Rebecca is probably about to show....This one episode.....Naah....You lost me guys....
Thays pretty sad!
Rick watches this: “he would’ve sold it for less what!”
Rick is such an actor. On the outside he’s playing like he’s just sold the family farm. On the inside he’s dancing like he just won the Powerball!
Rick : "Whats youre BEST price? "
Seller"75K"
Rick : "Ok so 40K?"
Me 0-0 ....
Me: Let's get someone to look at it.
Rick: Best I can do is get Stuart and i'm taking a big risk
guy: I would've sold it for less than 50k
rick: screams in *I'm taking a gamble here*
Its always epic the face rick makes when it comes to the dealing lol!
Rick “Ya, but this book has been read already....
4:56 Never seen Rick react like that.. he really wanted that book
Being the sixth great grandson of Thomas Jefferson, I can tell you that the sentimental value of Thomas Jefferson’s library is very strong.
Wow you are related to Thomas Jefferson!?
@@DeepteshLovesTECH Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings.
Very true. Jefferson's wife, Martha died childless.@@CodeBlue_EMT-P
I love how in the end the seller and Rick basically reversed roles
I love how strong the man was about his price. The suspense music when they were making the deal killed me lol 🤣
895 people are looking for Rebecca 😂😂

This is a wonderful episode. Great piece of American history I have no doubt this easily can go up to 100k in a auction
A quick summary for this show!
Employee: I’m gonna call a friend of mine.
This kind of treasure must not enter into a pawn shop ... Respect your Founding Fathers. 🙌
I like how Rick is wearing that gold Viking bracelet he bought a while back.
Well spotted!
Rick struggling over this piece of American history is awesome. lol
Best I can do is this booger and a clump of Chumlee's ear wax. I'm taking a big risk here.
Is that Viking bracelet in rick's hand which he had purchased in one of the episode?...perks of owing money printing pawn shop😂😂
I LOVE episodes like this. Rebecca or not, Rick is a sucker for American collectibles and this is what makes episodes like these my favorite. He gets legit pieces, awesome and historical Americana plus the seller always seems to have the upper hand!
This might be my favorite clip in PS history
I don't think I've ever seen Rick so conflicted when settling on a deal. He knew this is just too rare to pass up. He'll definitely get 75k for this too.
How do you know he'll definitely get $75K ?
@@jasonmichael3676 Do you know who Thomas Jefferson is? We're talking about a founding father of the United States. Anything connected to him is pretty much priceless. Rich collectors love buying stuff like this. 75k is a drop in the bucket.

REBECCA
its not Rebecca's thing......
She's expert on appreciating books' contents and stories behind and not on memorabilia (in this case just happened to be a Book) left by well-known person. The expert here knows a lot about the person including the markings Jefferson left on his book. Fair deal at 60Grand not 50.
We just witnessed one of the few times Rick got out haggled
Rick almost crying and begging lol 😅🤣
Rick was owned on this one wow. I knew from the start when this guy opened his mouth I knew that he would haggle Rick down to his favor. This guy was firm
This guy out negotiated Rick and he wanted everyone to know at the end!
Not even slightly.

It gets down to how bad somebody wants to sell/buy. Rick really wanted this book and the guy knew it
The last line was a punch to Rick’s Face 😂
How was that a punch to Rick's face ?
4:48 he sounded like an auctioner and rick had won as the highest bidder.
Seller: "My grand grand grand grand pa paid 15c for it!"
Rick: "My best offer will be 7c, not a penny more."
