All three are being used:
Dear John is going through one of them,
John's children are going throug the other one,
Sun is going through the third one,
Two golden horses
This band sells its music on iTunes if anyone is interested in hearing more of their music. This song is part of the album called "Janis". (The "a" is accented, but I don't have any accent marks on my English keyboard.)
Wonderful, as always! Thank you.
I'm glad you like it :)
Paldies no Jana!!!
Sveicieni Jānim Jāņu dienā! :)
Paldies!
Great song,Slava to you from your Slavic relatives.
Midsummer should be renamed to "Summer solstice"
Great song tho!
Glad you like it! :)
"Summer solstice" defines one day which happened to be 21st of June this year while "midsummer" is a longer period of time centered around the solstice - and more specifically the Northern European celebrations during this time. So, "Midsummer songs" would be a more accurate term for the genre of Baltic folk songs that this song belongs to.
My ancestors, and my Gods flow through me when I hear this kind of music!
