Gaudio to his kid: I talked down to the legend once and i paid the price.
I am so grateful for your channel! all the matches we would not likely see and can enjoy here. Nadal has always been a man of character and restraint. His face was so meek as he dismantled his opponent in two sets. I can only hope there will be some upcoming new champions that show half the class and character as Nadal.
I mean, Alcaraz exists lol
Rafa never loses his focus, and no one can get inside his head
The true GOAT of tennis
Love that Gaudio was HUMBLE as hell on that hand shake at the end.
Rafa then went on to win his first grand slam title weeks later.
Nadal will never lose his focus!
That single dreadlock at the back of gaudio’s head is the real villain here.
It looked like a god damned turd.
😂
I’ve never known that guy who was taught a lesson or two by Nadal in this match, yeah, he deserved that disgrace, people who disrespect others get deflated very quickly 😂😂 😂, Nadal is one of the people I’ve loved to watch all my life, humble and respectful of others, a talented player after Rodger, a role model to the young generation, there’s no question about it, i just like the way he handled this particular situation, he really humbled that guy, not surprising that I’ve never known him, couldn’t waste my time watching a snob 😢
No es de extrañar el poco tenis que as visto si no conoces al campeón de roland garros 2004..
A Star is Born
Rafa is polite and great sportsman not a rude hooligan..
Thank you so much for your great videos. You chose a perfect match to illustrate Rafa's focused behavior.
I think growing up with a famous soccer player uncle, along with Toni and his parents, helped Rafa to keep
his focus in tournament conditions. Thanks again and I have subscribed. Happy New Year.
Nobody better when he was in top form! The GOAT in my opinion.
Sadly for you, the goat isn't about subjectivity and opinions, just say that Nadal is your favorite player. The Goat is factually Djokovic for now unless Nadal won more grand slam, masters 1000 and Atp finals.
@@KayleJudicator By stats, Djokovic. Yeah, Joker is at another level.
Roger Federer and (you'll love this...) John McEnroe are still my faves, but Joker has the stats.
Nadal is the goat of clay
@@KayleJudicatorA GOAT is more than just winning.
Djokovic just doesn't have it !
Nadal is all that and more !
@@thomassicard3733For now ...
Little did Gastón know he was dealing with the latent King of Clay?
"latent"??? I'd say that Nada, at 19 (18?) wasn't 'latent'. Nadal achieved "King of Clay" from that year through today. Latent? That's a term you apply to someone who has always had heterosexual relationships, then at 45, 50, 55 years of age realizes they are a homosexual. Latent homosexual.
"latent"????
I think the word you meant to use is FUTURE.
@@thomassicard3733 “latent” is most popularly used as “latent homosexual”, but isn’t limited in use of just that: “latent homosexual”. Latent definition as I recall is: “existing, but not yet active, developed, or visible”. Rafa was the “latent king of clay” at this moment little did Gaston know, just yet? But he was already the “king of clay” at this point? You say? Ok, I agree, fair enough. But maybe 🤔 you say that because you already know he won 14 French Opens’? At this point know one could guarantee Rafa would of had the most French Open titles? But maybe you saw this? Maybe you’re a seer? ☝️😁
Gaudio really dealt well with the high bounce on his backhand side. Really good control and depth, despite the awkward height.
That was the veteran trying to bully Nadal.
He bageled him 😂
That car alarm blasting in the background is bloody annoying...
Who is Gaudio?
Exactly! 😂
Pone final de roland garros 2004 en el buscador y la respuesta te sorprenderá..
Rafa said No he hecho nada. I didn’t do anything.
Federer disrespected Nadal to. But eventually changed his mind.
Haha trying do intimidate The Player He would Love to get an autograph from years after that match.
He wouldn't have been so mad about that destruction If he already knew who He was actually playing against.
The person who disrespect Nadal he or she didn't deserve any respect from anyone.
The Argentinian who played the most mind games with people was Coria. He really messed with Gaudio's head in the RG final of 2004, but then got so overconfident that Gaudio snatched the victory.
Gaudio always seemed a nice enough guy, but not every player can be kind to younger rivals, as Rafa is.
Nicest and best Argentinian player, imo, was Del Potro.
Nalbandian wasn't bad neither, the only player who beat the big 3 in the same tournament
Meet a youngster who'd have bcm d GOAT of clay, 4 a Roland Garros defending champ like Gaudio there couldn't b worst opponent than that I suppose.
My Brother sold them ! He was a Sports Rep for his own Company.
@@glendadoweI bet you have some cool T-shirts.😊
Typical French arrogance! Nadal served it up for being so disrespectful. Well done Nadal xxx
Un Argentin merci
''inexperienced''
Lives when?
I love your videos
..jaja.. Por bocón.. 👊💥😖
did you really call this a federer move? get education. get knowledge.
Not the first not the last time where a mature player try to put nervous a very young tremendous player. Watch the serie Queen Gambit when the main character make a very young russian talent get nervous to defeat him 😂.
Gaudio was upset but wasn't disrespectful...
Gaudio wasn’t that good anyway in my opinion
1:17 Not a veteran move. An unsportsmanlike move. The Kyrgios school of thought
We should thank Nadal for teaching the 1 yr. younger Joker how to deal with such an opponent !
The perfect lesson !
Jokeovic is that kind of opponent, that’s why he never won a single Player’s award or Sportsmanship award and never will.
Jokeovic only became the BOAT, the most booed player in history and he’s still far behind Navratilova’s record of 59 GS or the GOAT Federer’s level of play.
@@SkjeggspirMartina only has 18 singles GS. Keep in mind, Martina comes from an era where tennis fitness consisted of 1 to 2 hours of training today. The era where Novak dominates requires Novak to have a strict diet and training for hours a day. And I would imagine that Federer's level of play is lower than Novak because he has achieved less.
@@inachos9766 ignore. that poster is the sort of idiot that is trying to make out that Federer's fan favourite awards are the same as grand slams just because Federer is so far behind in the real actual tennis results 😁
@@huzcer , sorry that the facts were too advanced for your Joker brain.
Jokeovic will only ever be the BOAT, the most booed of all time, and hated worldwide, regardless of your desperation🤡
Jokeovic is a garbage doubles player with only 47% wins in ATP. That’s why he’s so far behind Navratilova’s record of 59 GS. And her 569 weeks at #1.
@@inachos9766 , Federer’s level of play was the highest in history until he was permanently reduced by injury after 2011, and nobody has ever matched that. Even so an 80% Federer still won a lot after that too.
Jokeovic has been lucky with genetics, the same as Jimmy Connors, but longevity isn’t greatness, regardless of your brain damage.🤡
Navratilova’s 59 GS is still the record. And her 569 weeks at #1.
1-Djokovic
2-Nadal
3-Federer
agreed
Fed played a different timeline cant compare it. So we would never know who would dominate if they would born in the same year.
@@pcgamerzzzchannel3407 prime federer beat nadal in 7 season 7 times and lost 14 times from 2004-10 annnd djokovic beat absolute prime nadal 7 times only in 10 months from indian wells 2011 until AO 2012. I think this is answer enough.
Jokeovic has the mindset of a spoiled brat, and will never be a champion no matter how much he wins.
He is only the BOAT, the most booed player in history, and far away from Navratilova’s record of 59 GS anyway.
@@travisbickle5279, 2011 was the last prime year of the GOAT Federer.
Jokeovic only became the BOAT, the most booed player in history😂
And he’s far away from Navratilova’s record of 59 GS anyway.
gaudio was so overrated, coria was so underrated, french open 2004 was just different. last chance for coria to win before nadal and he shanked it
Gaudio as the last completely unseeded winner of a slam on the ATP so was hardly over-rated. Also Gaudio was 3-3 vs Nadal. Coria 1-4.
I dont see anyone overrating Gaudio, and Coria is just a top player without champion mindset, one slam loss and his mind dies
@@huzcer He's not really overrated, but only in the sense that no one really ever rated him that highly... Apart from that single French Open he never made it to the quarters of a single slam, and away from Roland Garros, never got beyond R3. Of all then 'one slam wonders,' (a term I usually avoid because it seems unduly disrespectful), I can't think of one with quite as bad a record as Gaudio in the Open Era, although feel free to let me know if you can come up with one!
@@richietaylor9870 so yes. he's not over-rated
@@huzcer But when you say "also Gaudio was 3-3 against Nadal" the implication is that he's under-rated, as opposed to simply 'not over-rated.'
😃
I liked Gaudio. A mentally flawed player but i enjoyed watching him and his FO win was one of the craziest finals ever.
Gaudio’s service motion reminds me of Sara Errani’s
I miss those pants
Yes and the sleeveless shirt. And for me the long hair. I’ll have to say that Rafa looks so good in his shorts. They are kind of shorter than most of the guys. And they show off his beautiful muscular legs😍❤
Hey competition is fun. Who cares if he was disrespected?
Calling someone Dummy, in any decent person's personna, would be insulting and definitely uncalled for !
The French are very arrogant ... my French Grand-mere told me so !
1 Rodger,2 Nadal 3 Djokovic 😂😂😂❤
Un acomplejado, incapaz……como se llama? Nadal superior….como siempre
Who cares,NOBODY lets move on,
Yes. We care.
Tennis has always been like a boxing match without the physical hitting…the players are always trying to psyche themselves up, and their opponents down. There is no “gentility” in the sport, so while players may respect each other, the psychological games to get the opponent off their game is ever present.
The irony of this story is that in a couple of yrs, Nadal was doing bush league tactics of his own against a younger Djokovic to get him intimidated and off his game…welcome to tennis…
Gaudio didn't disrespect Nadal. Gaudio realized that young Nadal was an enormous new talent and he tried to make nadal get nervous if case for that time at least make nadal play shy. Not nice behaviour but not so rare in older players.
DJOKOVIC #1
the person you referred as "this player" holds a Grand Slam Title among many other achievements. what are yours fellow?
The truth will come out in the end. He has been suspected of doping for many years and several have gone there that even doped people couldn't cope with Nadal. He must have had suspicious tests. Spain is known for doped athletes like Myleg on the skis, which I remember was the last Olympics I watched. Of course Nadal is doped and to think otherwise is, in my opinion, foolish.
If you believe that ... then I guess you can believe that of Djokovic !
One of the Biggest Actors of Tennis !
Djokovic,1,Djokovic1,Djokovic💯.%🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.......rodgerer2,nadal3😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
