Not getting to excited yet long way to go. BUT I'm loving how this team are one unit in previous season's we would have lost these sort of games. This feels so dif6to the last 6 seasons. Just need to get the players to work hard on the pitch and make sure they recover the right way. The feel good factor is back with the fan's. Keep the faith and play up POMPEY

We've taken some big points this month, but that was the biggest win yet. I felt ambitious at the beginning of September, saying I'd be happy with 10-12 points and we've exceeded that. This team just feels different this season on and off the pitch. I couldn't be more pleased with the direction we're heading. Still unbeaten, top of the league. I love this club 💙 PLAY UP POMPEY 🔵⚪️

Fair play to those that came up from Pompey, was bad enough driving from Yorkshire.
Definite shades of Barnsley in that second half but I was much less nervous this time around. Can’t believe they didn’t get at least one penno though. Good performance from the usual suspects but thought Sparkes did very well, not exposed defensively despite concerns prematch. Agree Whyte looked improved when he came on.
Great support today. Loving the quick uploads although would enjoy a longer video for some of these away wins.

Love the channel. It's a long time since I had the opportunity to go to an away game, but watching the vids gives me the next best thing!
The thing that worries me is that Pompey bringing the ball forward, always look to turn their back and pass backwards. They accelerate and then stop turn round and pass back. I wish they'd look forward! They look so much better. They should have put a couple more on Wigan in the second half - we may need the goal difference...

A great result in what was potentially a very tricky game. It’s amazing how an unbeaten tun, such as ours, can breed belief, strength & a formidable desire not to lose it. We are gong to take some stopping at the moment. The lads are giving absolutely everything & leaving nothing on the pitch. A quality performance 👌

It's looking good, isn't it? The tough September fixtures are done with, and every one of those tests have been passed. There's a determination and belief now that previously wasn't there, which makes a huge difference. Sure there'll be bumps in the road ahead yet but the team just seems better prepared for it now. Bring on October, and the rest of the season.

A great result and everyone is starting to believe . Its a bit concerning we had to chase after conceeding , but come back to win and that's a big difference to previous campaigns . Hi Tom morning Andrew think this year we are better equipped to stopping teams from breaking us down defensively we are sound and everyone is chipping in with the goals not just colby but i do think that robertson is the spécial player we needed he is just amazing and it seems so easy keep the faith onwards and upwards still à long way to go so lets just enjoy it at the moment and take each game as it comes

First time in a Pompey end since the early 90s...long story!
I think you make an important point about how they had us pinned back for large periods of the second half, and I don't think we asserted ourselves enough on the ten men. Having said that, we held them at arm's length and they didn't have any real chances with ten. Onwards and upwards! PUP

Hi there Tom and Andrew. Wow what a great run we're on at the moment. That was a fantastic result up at Wigan yesterday and what's even more incredible is we are still unbeaten in the league this season and still top of the league. In 2 games in a row we've gone a goal behind and turned it around to win the game. That has to be promotion winning form i think, though to be honest i would rather we score the first goal in a game for a change rather than having to come from behind and giving ourselves work to do. But then we're pompey and we never do things the easy way do we Tom. But the win and 3 points is what counts. JM manager of the month maybe, what do you think Tom. Definitely should be nominated i think. This is our chance now i feel, we have to go up this season. Hopefully this is our year🙏 Finally, sorry to hear the sad news about Zac Swanson's mum. My thoughts go to him and his family at this time. He's a great player and I'm sure he'll get through this. As always keep the faith and play up Pompey 🔵 ⚪ 🔵

Do you know what Sunday is so special because i can look forward to your summary of the Saturday performance. Your comments are always fair snd considered. I was at wigan in 2006 for the great escape so some lovely memories! So my questions Tom are how can we stop conceding the first goal? And how the heck are we going to fit in Yengi, Saydee and Anjorin to name but a few. Our reserve back four of Swanson, Raggett, Towler and Sparkes - as good as any other teams first 11. Hard to tell what's going on with Wigan, they still seem to have off field problems but maybe a better team than people think. They could do with some more supporters though! The amount of empty seats! Usually a tough away trip for us, I'd have taken a draw so to take a win even better. By all accounts they were unlucky not to have a penalty but I couldn't give a shit. When I think of the amount of dreadful decisions we've had go against us in league 1, this is how it is in the EFL! We just need to maintain the level now.

Hi Pompey fans. I'm a Wigan fan and was at this game, a little perspective is needed here. I admire your fanaticism and passion, the best team won on the day. However, the referee (Will Finnie) had a poor game. He missed a couple of penalty blatant claims and gave a lot of the decisions in favour of your lot. He spoiled the game as a spectacle. At times I felt he was wearing a Portsmouth shirt and it was ten against twelve ! I don't like to criticise referees, they have a thankless task, but today, he had a stinker. Up to know, Pompey are the best team I have seen at the DW this season, though Barnsley were also good. You team has character and resolve and could go all the way:

Oi Tom and Andrew. What is different from last year is a squad with another team in it that could come in, and be nearly as good as the best eleven. Add to that, Regan Poole and Alex Robertson, and we have a side that can match any in this league. Goals coming from Lane and Poole taking the load off Colby. Onwards and upwards (I hope).
