    Just grabbed one of these and off the bat you can see the difference in how finer the claw is cut on the apex compared to the stock.

    If I wanted to use the longer pin for the regular model for reinstallation would that be okay or should I be using your pin always?
    Thanks!

      You can use the regular one as long as it's not damaged or rolled over. That said, I like to use fresh roll pins when possible, so it makes sense to use the new pin that came with the kit. Either way, you should be good to go.

    Will this trigger work in the FN 510?

    My extractor isn't sitting flush with the outside of the slide and I do not remember if it was like that previously anyone else?

    Just got an FN 509 today. Is this necessary? Are there issues with the OEM one? I have your striker ready to install. Wondering if I need this too.

      Not required but we had a number of customers ask us for a fully machined extractor. Also, we made it for use in our own 5.00" LongSlide.

    Anyone whose bought this is it worth it and has it improved anything other ejection?

    So is this just an upgraded part from factory just because or is there any real benefits of this?

    • @apextactical
      @apextactical  Před 3 lety

      This is our fully machines extractor. We had a number of requests form customers for one. Plus, we needed one for our own 5.00" slide for the FN 509.

      Higher quality. This is heat treated machined stainless steel, the factory one is MIM. Worth it? Remains to be seen but its certainly a step up in terms of material and attention to detail. But I definitely want to see someone do a review on this, specifically the angle of ejection and how well this works when the slide is dirty vs the factory extractor.
