Still can't believe he has gone..only 65..no age..I'm 62 this yr...and yes I was a big Rollers fan..Les was my favourite too..he always had a smile and a cheeky glint in his eyes..its a damn shame that he has fought to banish his demons and then in the midst of a well deserved revival has lost his life..it just shows you what a nice guy he was..so many of the fans that met him say he was so nice and always made time for them.. he could have been bitter..they were done out of millions but no he just kept being the nice guy he was..the voice of my teenage yrs..no longer have my scarf but still love tartan to this day..a very sad day for us roller fans..obviously condolences to his family and friends..you have left a big hole in people's hearts with your passing..fly high shine bright Les like the star you are..RIP...💔💔😭

The Bay City Rollers were not only good musicians but the best looking of all boy bands ever, imo. Les, Eric and Alan were really the cutest in the band and Les’s voice just took every teenage girl’s breath away,at that time. RIP and still missed

That is how I got to know them too, my older sister was a fan. I'm sad as well, hadn't thought of them too much but maybe once in a while. Too bad that Les struggled with alcoholism. Seemed like a great guy & of course very talented singer. Looking back makes me feel nostolgic.
      May he RIP.

Yes, that is true. Had to shake my head because of this inappropriate laughter...😡!
I was also sad to hear that this idol of my very early youth has passed away. I'm German and unfortunately can't understand all the words in this interview, but it seems to me I heard Les had overcome his alcohol problem and that makes it sadder for me he passed away so young....R.I.P. I appreciate the DJ apologizing for his less than enthusiastic announcement of BCR's No 1 status, but that was his job! If I was a cashier and someone came through my line with something I found "ugly" etc...I wouldn't make a comment because that is not my job, and none of my business ;) Anyway, water under the bridge. It is extremely sad for his family and the millions of fans around the world. R.I.P. Leslie McKeown!
