I just saw the episode of "Rehab" on a whim and I'm really glad I watched it. Addiction is never something you can just sweep under the rug. It has to be addressed if you want to move forward for the rest of your life. Either you will or you won't. Do you want to live or die? I'd like to shake that man's hand.
First are you aware of what Les went through as a teenager? Let me enlighten you in case you are clueless. He was raped by their manager. I knew before others did actually and no I won't divulge how I knew. Why am I telling you about him being raped? Because most don't realize being raped at such a young age especially when someone is a man leads to confusion regarding their sexuality. Three other famous people that came out as gay were also raped at young ages. I so far haven't seen any homophobic comments that you allude to but I haven't really read alot on here but it's stupidity that leads them.there because of their lack of knowledge. Les didn't have a whole lot of support especially directly after it happened. If you are going to bring up his widow unfortunately it was obvious she wasn't aware of his struggles and he didn't feel comfortable telling her. Despite everything he was a beautiful human being that gave a gift to the world despite his pain.

They are not the very first boy band. The interviewer got that really wrong. But they were as big as the Beatles. I'm not saying they were like the Beatles, I'm saying their success was as huge. I was a huge fan. Seen them many times. Got very excited seeing them. What you see on CZcams now is what it was like. We fans were nuts. It was a exciting time to be a teenager. Met the boys at the airport before a show. They are very cool. Leslie a little standoffish. I see now why he was like that. They had it harder than us fans knew. Derek was a jerk to me though. Maybe for the same reasons. Too many fans touching him. That always stuck with me how mean he was. But Woody was a sweetheart. My new crush!! Thanks for the memories BCR!!
I think the drug induced sexual assault and his subsequent post traumatic stress disorder that he suffered afterwards left him confused. When mind altering drugs are used it can leave a person confused.

How can a band manager possibly get access to his clients personal bank accounts...how? 5 guys with 5 sets of parents and families...I'd think someone would have inquired or investigated where the millions were ending up...did they not know about lawyers? The music industry is filled with very oily folk...unemployable Circus people (Carnies/GYPsies) they were called in bygone days.
