My favorite genre of music is classical, and if ever that happens to come up in conversation, I’ll often hear the other person say “I should really listen to more classical,” or “I should go to more orchestra performance,” etc. My response is always the same: “It’s music, not vegetables. There is no virtue in liking any genre of music over another one. Listen to whatever you want.” I have little patience for those who put hobbies or tastes in a hierarchy, or who feel the need to mock others for what brings them joy.
I'll preference a reply that I have a bias, but I want to come at this in an open mind. That said, in my entire 11+ years working at TRU, Hot Wheel collectors were by far the ones I had the most difficulties with. No I'm not going to bring out a case of 72 cars when I'd only be able to put out 15-20 out of a total capacity of around 200 so that you can find 2. And I feel even less inclined to do it when you feel entitled to climb the gondolas to pull down a box during the holidays. We did have one regular who was fine and great to have in, but there were fewer of him than the aforementioned offenders.
Only time I'd find strange people in the stockroom at any of the numerous retail stores I use to manage, always guy's looking for matchbox cars. They'd be out side scratching their arm's like crackheads waiting for our trucks to drop off the weekly merchandise orders.

As an avid Reddit reader I can report: the only thing remarkable about this Reddit thread, is how long the villain managed to keep engaging with his critics. That said, watching your bafflement was absolute gold. Edit: I thought my comment was reasonable and certainly not negative in any way. Yet still loads of replies are cruel and toxic. I find this surprising, especially considering the content of this video. I am fully aware that this edit will likely attract more of the same but here goes anyways. Yes, I use Reddit. I looked it up, apparently I created my account in 2016. Reddit happens to be my social media of choice and I scroll on it, according to my phone, 15 minutes a day on average. I choose to believe that the people below who chose to insult me, would never use the same language towards strangers they meet in the street. I suspect sometimes people forget that there is a person behind every comment on every social media platform. I now people will say that I should just ignore them but, believe it or not, those comments are hurtful.

I basically use Reddit for the unofficial subreddit for people who work in my company across the country. News on the company, listening to complaints about it and standing with my coworkers. Giving advice as I've been with the company for 18 years. Sometimes I have questions or need information involved in my job. It's nice to have people to help when there's not a resource at the time.

Yeah... Though, is there any actual "Alpha chad mechanic" stuff that can actually be done in your own garage? I'm not a gearhead but the typical general maintenance stuff like changing spark plugs or oil filters is not particularly difficult. While the big, intensive jobs that would typically require a shop like engine or transmission changes would imply that they f'd their car up (Unless it's like a custom job where they're putting a non-standard engine into a car)
@@tarille1043 I'd say it's limited by resources. You can go a long way with a good set of tools and lift. I have a buddy with a pole barn and a lift that's done engine swaps and stuff at that level. It's expensive but can be done. I also think it's awesome when anyone DIYs their own vehicle's maintenance.

My favorite genre of music is classical, and if ever that happens to come up in conversation, I’ll often hear the other person say “I should really listen to more classical,” or “I should go to more orchestra performance,” etc. My response is always the same:

I'll preference a reply that I have a bias, but I want to come at this in an open mind. That said, in my entire 11+ years working at TRU, Hot Wheel collectors were by far the ones I had the most difficulties with. No I'm not going to bring out a case of 72 cars when I'd only be able to put out 15-20 out of a total capacity of around 200 so that you can find 2. And I feel even less inclined to do it when you feel entitled to climb the gondolas to pull down a box during the holidays.
We did have one regular who was fine and great to have in, but there were fewer of him than the aforementioned offenders.

I find this surprising, especially considering the content of this video. I am fully aware that this edit will likely attract more of the same but here goes anyways. Yes, I use Reddit. I looked it up, apparently I created my account in 2016. Reddit happens to be my social media of choice and I scroll on it, according to my phone, 15 minutes a day on average. I choose to believe that the people below who chose to insult me, would never use the same language towards strangers they meet in the street. I suspect sometimes people forget that there is a person behind every comment on every social media platform. I now people will say that I should just ignore them but, believe it or not, those comments are hurtful.

While the big, intensive jobs that would typically require a shop like engine or transmission changes would imply that they f'd their car up (Unless it's like a custom job where they're putting a non-standard engine into a car)
@@tarille1043 I'd say it's limited by resources. You can go a long way with a good set of tools and lift. I have a buddy with a pole barn and a lift that's done engine swaps and stuff at that level. It's expensive but can be done. I also think it's awesome when anyone DIYs their own vehicle's maintenance.
@@tarille1043yea you can do most jobs in your garage with some dedication. some of my favorite cars have just been built in some dude's garage
@@Seth_Desuyep ive helped quite a few buddies do engine swaps in their 1 car garage at their house i know a kid who built an LS swapped s13 from scratch in his garage only moved it to paint the frame i know another kid who swaps his engine so much in his truck just from his apartment complex parking lot with some dedication you can do alot with just some tools
