Brooo! that's so much effort and dedication. I am going to donate a few dollars just to show my appreciation. Thanks for your hard work 🤩
much appreciated
I love how many just frames they gave Lee in this game lmao
Wow Lee has to work so hard for just 67 damage
always has been
Or is everyone else just easy for 80+ damage
Dude those chain wall standing moves get me
Then you have King getting hella dumbed down and buffed for no reason, whilst getting armor from a back kick that transitions to a leg drop that does a lot of damage for not a lot of input
But its beautiful

Wow, these combos are tough! And so much fun, great video, thanks!
Really love the video and the changes you are making as you get better at making these! Super well made. Cant wait to hit the lab with my second favorite character in the game.
Instant sub. Clean notation and nice combos 👍
I love that you have notes for difficulties for each combos more power to your channel, hoping for more content like this :)
Great timing, just when I needed it!
Very nice work. The tekken 8 combo expression is so massive that there's still a lot of combo routes and situations that weren't included in this video
Nice work, clean editing!
Wasn’t expecting Sonic Generations music in my Tekken combo video but I’m happy.
It’s quite EXCELLENT!
Thank you as always for the MARVELOUS guide! That pickup for the FC df4 combo at 9:27 blew my goddamn mind 🤯
One word marvelous
Keep up the good work
I love track from father's videos in this! Marvelous!

Thanks boss
When you get DF44 or Powercrush heat dash you can actually get HMS UF4 then UB3 instead of just blazing kick, with some tech options depending on timing you can actually get the float combo like with the CH FC DF4 situation
How do I get the rising 12 after the back 2

9:27 what a combo
I never think about how much real estate mist step and sway iws take up on notated combos. Have we all not decided on a shorthand way to list them after all this time? 😂
Idk how to do that input where its a quick step into back 1 then 2
Please bro , Jack-8 Combo guide❗
I love you bro
Im confused on how to do the inputs after the mist step cancel, like for example, b,n,2,3 because traditionally thats a while rising move (wr 2,3). It looks to me like as you cancel the mist step, you sway back and somehow it gives you a while rising move? Or is that suppose to be d instead of b? Im confused
Excellent!
But fc uf4 ws12f -> b2 weirdly whiffs if fc uf4 hit from further away in my test. Lee moved faster than the opponent and switched side. The dummy is Nina. I guess I still need to stick with the brainded 3x ws1,2 I have been using since Day 1.
I can't make 444 dash b2 connected after all these time. But I can somehow use b11f.
ff4 b243 is my takeaway today though. I always used ff4 b2f sway ws1,2 but it's not really stable online for me.
Thank you.
It would be nice to see your inputs cause I cant find a way to transition back 2 dash into while standing 1 2
Same I didn't even know it was ws 1,2
During any version of mist step with different timings depending on how you enter mist step, if you press back at a certain point in the animation you’ll enter a backsway. During the first few frames of the backsway, inputs will register as while standing.
So, b2, f, wait a little bit, then b, n, 1,2. The timing is a little tricky but it just takes practice. Note that you have to immediately input something after entering backsway or it’ll come out as standing, but you also do need the neutral input.
@@secrettunnel5314 fuck this I'm going back to yoshimitsu......is what I want to say but he's too eggscellet
@@secrettunnel5314 bro your comment finally helped me understand wth he was doing, thank you bro
I would appreciate a kuma guide
idk if it’s just seriously strict, but the combo at 2:34 doesn’t appear to actually work. i’ve been practicing it and the b, 2,4,3 after the d+2 doesn’t appear to connect, the initial punch just misses. it does however work but only when they get wall splatted
I’ve always wondered if it’s worth learning Lee? Would the skills I learn from his high execution & timing based movements translate well to playing other characters with similar execution requirements?
He has really good fundamental tools like df1, counter hit launchers, good lows, good keepout and whiff punishers. But his fundamental tools work differently from other characters and that's why you need to be a character specialist to use this character effectively.
I'd say just play whoever you think is fun and it's going to help you in long run with other characters
He's a character you get to learn forever vs basically everyone else especially now that your basically THE defense specialist in an all out OFFENSE game/meta meaning with discipline and experience you can capitalize heavily on mistakes and get the ceiling to show off your mastery and make up shit on the fly and mindgame TF out of people. 100x better than Mongo Paul or Kuma
for 0:30 for me the f4,1often whiffs, even when I dont delay it. does this mean I just fucked up the b2,b2,iws12?
Can anyone help me!?!?!? I can’t seem to do Wonderful Spin Blow or Rocket Hell during an airborne mist step combo???
Any tips on the inputs let’s say for example you launch then hit B2 hold forward then hit Back then input 1 2? Like I can’t consistently get the while rising 1 2 after pressing back if that makes sense
You have to just tap b for a split second after the b2f, the timing will take time cuz I still drop it myself, the input is like b2f b neutral 1,2
My respect for lee players has⬆️ After this vid
Dude please Nina Williams combo guide 🥺
Most of these combos are too much for my pea sized brain but i did learn some things.
Down 2 is a nice juggle input in combos.
Any tornado move into Back back 4 into heat burst and back back 4 again into forward foward 3 heat dash forward forward 3 again can be applied on most combos which is the best choice since lees heat smash is trash 😕
that's why there is basic structure mentioned, all you have to do is remember that and since those combos work with most of the launchers just give a bit less damage, you can use them in every situation
So i need help. how are you guys getting ws12 and ws23 in the combos. I am trying the inputs on screen and it just is not making sense to me.
You have to press back at just the right time after the last mist step move which cancels it and allows you to use while standing moves
It’s a staple Lee cancel since T6, I believe…f:b
@@Sway187thanks man, I had no fucking idea
@@vegetoavery No worries. The timing is pretty strict but now that you know the tactic behind it, you’ll be away.
Combo at 0:42 How are you connecting the Tornado? Out of range every time when I try
Yeah idk it lands like 90% of the time but then just whiffs it's weird
god in the third combo with all the stars... like back star 1, 2 . ik the star just means to delay a small amount of time but icannot make lee do the same attacks i see in the video. star inputs so confusing
I keep dropping the combo at 0:47. When i do b2 b2 ws12 i cant seem to get the f41 to hit. The 4 hits but the 1 misses. I hit it a couple of times but i dont know what i did wrong. Maybe my b2's aren't tight enough?
me bro
0:23 i can't seem to understand how people do that rising 1 2 right after the dash, everytime i try i can't dash cancel and run out of time.
YES! I'm having the same problem and have no idea how to get it to work.
I want Lee to be my next main, but getting that Mist Step cancel into WR 2+3 is so tricky for me >_
Wr2+4?

The 1:33 combo was nerfed?
0:24 how do you do B12 move i'm getting the jabs instead. I'm really nooby when it comes to this lol
you don't press b1,2 you have to press b,neutral,1,2 which gives you while standing input if done from mist step

Some of the combos I see have just frame, is it mandatory to do the just frames to continue the combo or not?

I'm curious can you get a wr34 aftet bb4 ?
tried it but it never worked, it might connect near wall or left axis. I have a better option with b4 after bb4 which should do the most damage if done right and I also did not include any of the max damage routes on purpose because of difficulty. I'll do max damage videos later.
Im never gonna pass on mist steps.
how to connect the bb4 into ff 3, i always drop it T_T

you have to be very fast tbh

Lee hits like a truck jeez cant believe im saying that 😂
I’m struggling with the back, Star ,1,2 move
after b2 f make sure you are really getting that neutral input, it can be easy to do it too quickly. Let Lee actually start backswaying then immediately do 1,2 f. Once you figure out the timing it becomes a lot easier.
I can't get this combo to work 1:31 b2,4,3 always wiffs
Let me know if you figure it out, I can't find a way to get it to hit consistently

I feel like Lee is the only character who's combos got harder in Tekken 8
Idk, I feel like it got easier from 7 but that might just be me
t8 lee combos are much easier than t7. wr3,4 was much harder in that game, you get at least 30 frames after T! in this game instead of 20-27, mist step does not require timing you just have to hold forward.
I cannot for the life of me get 0:38 to work, is the dash d2 even still possible?
yes it is still possible
still trying, still cant do it consistently
I don't understand this move in combo: b*12 ??
You might’ve figured it out by now but that’s ws1,2. You have to enter backsway from mist step after b2 and immediately input 1,2 for while standing.
@@secrettunnel5314 thanks I understand, it's hard but I train.
How to do that sway to instant wr 12
f N (mist step) B N (hold for just the right amount to not sway, but enough to cancel mist step) 1,2
so f N > B:N > 1,2
From personal experience, I found it easier to hold mist step until Lee is at the lowest point, then do back then forward right after the back input.
The next is Zafina?
next one is lars, upcoming video schedule will be posted after lars guide in community post
Is d2 really that viable online?
it is, it's safe mid that guarantees heat engager on counter hit.
Them combos look fire but the inputs are too precise and hard you have to be an expert to be going in and out of that stands like that
That's why there is a basic combo structure, all combos from it also work with other launchers
@@TK_TheFURY can you do a tutorial on the back 2 misstep the he goes in an out of hitman an is able to do while rising move from the mist step

TK how do you consistently... dash. Im new to Tekken, only have 5 hours total and 3.5 on lee, but have played other fighting games like Blazblue, KOF, Guilty, and MK but im hitting a wall with the *Dash Mechanic* for the optimized combos because ill either sidestep or my character will just stop mid dash and my button will wiff and I lose out on so much potential dmg.
I can already consistently Acid Rain and chain the back sway while rising inputs in combos, I just want to PERFECT my game😂
- dash after back back 4 into down 2
- dash after down 2 into down 2
-dash after back 2,4,3 into forward 4,1
- At 1:50, is the down 4 necessary or is it just for timing?
- Could you subsitute the back 4 into down 3 for unique combos into Crecent Moon/or back 4 into upback 3 like how you would for Acid?
- I think theyre might be a more optimal back 4 counter hit combo by using down back 3 to get the 2nd lauch, dash up and back back 4 into down 2, then back 2 wave dash into 1,2 then back 4 into cartwheel/ or 2,1 finisher... I tried it and got around 78
Thats all, at this point doing combos, I prolly got 7 hours on him now 😂
1. The dash after bb4 for d2 to land requires quite a good amount of distance, you are probably pressing d2 too early. Try doing something like bb4 -> ff,n (dash and then let go of the direction since from what I am thinking you are probably cancelling the dash to early thus not gaining enough distance for d2 to land) -> d2
2. Probably same Issue
3. Essentially the same timing just delay the next action after your dash a bit more (and if you get ff4 instead of f4 you are pressing the direction input too fast)
4. The d4 at 1:50 both helps with timing but also nets you 2 more damage than if you just did 4u3 (so essentially can be safely ignored from what I've seen)
5. Not too sure on that one.
6. Also not too sure what you mean with db3 might be a situation where if the enemy doesn't techroll you can get more out of it
