The US models started out with a 119 inch wheel base and as years went on to 115 inches and the last G-Body models at about 117 inches. Why not use peel and stick block heaters to preheat the oil. I’m in the wintery North of the US. They’re common here, You could even use a power inverter and leave it running heating oil the whole time.

I believe the issue he was talking about - "milky oil" is due to too much methanol during the running of the engine at idle, as it is running rich. The extra methanol washes down into the cylinders, pass the rings and into the oil - making it milky.

That system is a "toilet" ! You just flush it! Idle is only good for seconds, made for 5 seconds at a time? That is why they tow the car to the line? Check out "March meet" ?
