I want to quickly clear up the ending for those who might've misunderstood. "Sooner or later, Jake, you'll have to decide for yourself." - what Hailey is referring to here is Jake staying in or leaving the club. NOT choosing friends/a side. In context it's only about Jake thinking of quitting after the completion due to pressure, which she is upset by.
Hailey isn't telling him to choose between her and Drew. She's telling him that neither of them should dictate his decision to stay/leave. That's all!

Series like The Hated Child, The Bad Boy and the Softie and many more popular series were copied over and over again but this, NO ONE can ever do this masterpiece the way Rosy did. Fav series of all time!
Seriously, like all the old gacha life mini movies are so outplayed and over the top. Rosy did something original and it’s presented very well with a good script. So many gacha creators quit CZcams because they stick to cliches, lack motivation or lack the people to make something as high quality as this.

20:06 - Notice how Lia goes silent? I think it's because what Hailey said stuck with her. It wouldn't be surprising considering how she acts in ep.10 part 1. It looks like she actually took into consideration what Hailey said and realised she was right. And that's what I like about Lia. She's sorta like Jake with the whole "Mean to impress someone". Because we know Jake was only mean to the club so Drew & his friends wouldn't judge him. Like he said, they're "all he had".

Lia used to be Hailey's friend, but she went to be friends with Zoey to try and "fit in". Other clues of this is how they interacted in class, and in episode 3, when Zoey and her group were bullying Milly, she never looked happy, nor saying anything honestly. She just followed. She also wanted to see Jake preform on stage, and was pretty excited about it. She never wanted to bully them, but she wanted to fit in and stay friends with Zoey.

Hailey really reminds me of myself. It's because she has a stage fright, but I have a social anxiety. And both of us started feeling that way in our 7th grade, and for similiar reason.
i have social anxiety too… except mine started back in 4th grade 🥲 she really does remind me of myself

@@eponaaa3862 I'm sorry about that. I also felt that way then. But it's worse that I feel that way more often, and it's very hard for me to admit this, but I think it's my mother's fault. She knows about it and was on my side for a while, but suddenly she started blaming me for being afraid to talk to others. And my theory is that it's all because of one doctor (it's a female doctor), but that's a long story 😅.

Currently rewatching the whole series rn and I wanna point out a small little detail I found. At 14:16, I just realized that Hailey was trying to read a book about "Stage Presence". I think she was trying so desperately to gather her confidence again but knowing that even up till that timeline, her stage fright is still there and she never managed to fix it.
Another thing I wanna point out in 14:37. From what we know in the previous episodes and this current episode, Hailey is a perfectionist. But sadly, the one thing she can't do perfectly is her singing infront of a crowd. Given under these circumstances with the whole bullying thing, it feels impossible to do so. She probably pressures and blames herself for not being able to sing even though her surrounding is what makes her be this way. Her surrounding is very toxic which makes her confidence falter even further and is the main factor that led to develop her stage fright. Hailey following the expectations of others probably causes her to think that she's not worthy enough to stand under the spotlight.

aight I got a little theory. In 14:11 we can see Hailey and Lia being picked on by Zoey and some other girls. They were obviously friends back then, but now they're clearly not. I think that Lia turned on Hailey and left her for the "popular" squad to stop and actually be liked for once while Hailey didn't want to become someone like that and continued to put up with it. Their conversation in class definitely suggested it.

This episode was quite emotional from Zander’s love for puppies to Hailey’s stage fright. Also the smaller details like Zander and mom getting competitive on the piano/keyboard are very nice and enjoyable. You’re doing great 👍😊

This makes me so upset because Jake doesn’t think he’s valued in the club and that they only like/want him now because of his singing. Not because Jake is genuinely likeable and a good person. Hailey feels hurt by the fact jake doesn’t think that their actually friends because she genuinely likes jake and wants them to be friends. Hailey wants jake to realize their not just using him for the competition and jake wants to know where he stands in the club.
I feel like that's a topic for episode 7 but ok- you're not wrong

Something that I love about the animation in this series is the character habits. I’ve noticed that Jake will almost always put his hand on his neck or the lower part of his head when he’s nervous or pending on something. It’s a great form of recurring details and character personality! Zander doesn’t smile all that often unless he’s charmed by Luke or something that he likes, it’s a great way to express his mostly annoyed demeanor! I absolutely love the animation and the little details of everyone! I hope Rosy and her team keep up the amazing work! 💙💙💙
I noticed this as well! It's really cool to see varied mannerisms in expression, body language, and speech. Hailey appears closed off most of the time as well, it's way easier to spot now that the eye shapes can be moved and edited. I get the impression she's very tense most of the time. I guess maybe it's because I studied body language to understand social cues better as an autistic person, but I pick up on a lot of that stuff and it's so nice.

That's such a cool way to show that Daisy and Sean still talk and text from the background after their first interactions. It honestly makes this more special and realistic that characters have interesting lives without us knowing the first time.

OK, I get why most of you started to dislike Jake because of this, but hear me out, imagine how hard it must be for Jake to choose between his friends, sure, the Club is *obviously* nicer, but he's been with the other three for a *long* time and he's the type of person who doesn't want to hurt *anyone,* and despite the memories he has with the Music Club, the back of his mind probably still thinks that the only use of him to it is him taking part in the competition... So by what he said, he probably means, "Well... You guys only really need me for the competition, right? So I don't understand why it isn't OK for me to leave after that...?" Other than that, Jake's kinda dense and he didn't get how upset Hailey would be, he's probably confused about his own feelings at this point, let alone others'... Plus, leaving the Club is his own choice, there's nothing wrong with it, logically, and his mental state and peace of mind is more important than "Jailey"...
Would all of *you* be able to easily choose between a friend group you've had for *years* who took you in when no one else did and one that was unwelcoming to you at the start, but gradually became nicer? And not only that, would you be able to let go of the chances of getting your dream crush just because some friends don't like the idea? You might say it'd be easy, but you'd atleast struggle a bit if you were in that situation... And although Hailey said that the Club was like family, Jake *might* have anxiety that makes him think that he's only needed for the competition, blocking his common sense... We don't know what else he might be going through behind the scenes, so please, try not to judge a person because of something like that
