It is an important distinction that the PiSugar 2pro with the realtime clock and extra programmability can turn a Pi into a mobile personal computer with no need for constant network connection. Unix type operating systems need to know the time when they start and the 2pro will ensure this. The plus is $20 cheaper but for most of my work having a clock is worth the expense. Mind you I can think of applications where the clock is unnecessary like I want to make my own music player with higher quality output, in a read only system like that not having correct time is irrelevant. In many environments there are a number of way of getting the correct time but nothing beats just reading the onboard clock.

I bought the pi sugar 2 pro based on ETA's previous video. And while it does work well, I HATE the local of the power switch. It's much too close to the pcb's charging port and the pi's video ports.
I'm using mine on a pi3b and in the car as an entertainment center for my kids on long trips. The battery is perfect for them to pause the movie while we make a bathroom or food stop, and be able to just hit play when get back in.
But that power switch should have been much farther forward to get away from all the I/O.
Really wish they had redesigned that part with this model.

I got all my emulators from the playstore itself and I run my games using the apps default settings. Dreamcast run well while with ps1 games some of them are a bit choppy such as Marvel vs Street fighter and Marvel vs capom etc. Which is strange because Dreamcast games are technically more complex to run yet they play without problem while ps1 have trouble running some titles.

So I'm guessing the power for the pi comes from the GPIO I don't ever seeing any other way the pi is powered.

I prefer my 30,000 Mah brick and it's the same price, if theres no case to hide the pi and battery, might aswell have it sat on a huge brick.

  • @ThisPageIntentionallyLeftBlank

5000mah…. Gimme that 10,000 or double up the batter in jacks.

I "love" the feature yt added where added where it is constantly guessing at what quality to run making fuzzier than the quality it says it is at, buffer more as it jumps around and just generally harder to run, then also making it so that when you click setting it isn't opens the icard when one is on screen even though there is a separate button for that so you can't set it at the start of a video and have to wait for the video to progress passed the icard to then set the quality
    No sarcasm here, I swear
