The one handed air freeze & Pike Freeze takes me back to my early days as a Bboy, this was one of the first moves I wanted to learn as the Bboy one handed air freeze looks too impressive to not learn!
I also briefly cover the one handed pike freeze which has got to be my favorite shape when I stick and hold it! One handed freezes in general are awesome once we master the transitions in and out!
Air freezes are great fun to learn and when used properly, can be quite deadly if the one handed freeze is used on an opponent 🖐🏼
I'm currently on holiday in Vietnam but I still wanted to bring you this piece of content, the one handed air freeze Bboy tutorial. This will be one of several air freeze tutorials as there are quite a lot of variations of the Bboy one handed to this that I can show you.💡

Really liked that you picked out the difference between cartwheel/french/handstand hop entries to the freeze.
Having that variety in approaches really spices up sets. I thought I had taken L-kicks as far as I could without linking into other moves, but now I have new directions I can develop in.

Had no idea that touching your foot in a pike freeze isn't really used anymore.
I used to do it all the time in transition with other pike freezes.

Yeah, 20 years! I am trying to now use a different style to my bboying since gettting back into it again. My style is more of a footwork and freeze type. I teach youth here and there the fundamentals when I have a chance. Thanks for your response. Much respect to you.

A lot of people say to ‘turn’ your shoulder. Does this work for you? I just fall on my arse if I try to turn my weight on my shoulder lol.
I think I understand wha your friends mean when they say 'turn your shoulder' but I'd say it's more about twisting your chest towards the celling whilst simultaneously bringing your legs towards your chest. I've just posted this video which is a follow up to the one handed freeze, check it out, it should make things clear and eaiser once you can do this 👊🏼😎
