As a bboy or bgirl you want to make your footwork look beautiful.
Bboy Roxrite once said in an interview that "Footwork is the rawest part of our dance." Of course, you can train as you wish but once you start practicing footwork, learn to ride the rhythm of the music and begin to flow within all your steps, I'm convinced you'll love creating your very own variations of footwork. Have fun creating!
Welcome to my Bboy / Breakdance tutorials! For all levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced, covering Toprock, Footwork, Freezes & Power Moves. Leave me a comment if you'd like me to make a particular tutorial.

    Be advised:
As a Bboy or Bgirl, dancing in this style (Breakin’ / Breakdance) comfortably can take time, hard work and discipline. Harder moves should not be attempted until you master your ‘Basics’ in Toprock, Footwork & Freezes. Make sure you attempt these tutorials in an open space, I am not responsible for any acquired injuries, muscle soreness or any broken furniture. Please be aware of your surroundings and your body at all times. Should you require any further assistance you can email me.
    Before you practice:
    1. Warm up/get your heart rate up: Always take your time to warm up your entire body.
    2. Mobility. Mobilise your joints and muscles transitioning into a light stretch
    3. Optional but recommended mild conditioning of the muscles surrounding the Wrists, Shoulders, Knee, Ankles, and most importantly, Core.

what is freeze framing? (i heard it from a video of roxrite's). what is the difference between freeze stack and freeze frame?

no questions anymore, I think keep doing negatively then moving on from bottom to top is the best advice. The reason why I ask because I thought i was kinda strong - able to do most of basic freezes (handstand, chair, airchair, elbow ...) few of them not mastered yet (airbaby, 1 arm freeze) and most of your conditioning freezes video were easy to me (maybe my calisthenic workout in the past was kinda worth it now) but whenever I try to stack freezes/ transition into different levels especially going up I tend to lost balance (ground freeze stacks are easy)

What would be any strength prerequisite for stacking for those that may struggle with going from one freeze to the other? I used to do this often but never had the speed for getting into different freezes. Another great video.😃

Sh0tym3 you gotta be at least have a decent bboy body (good balance/ strong core is main) others come naturally. I highly recommend practice it alone when you’re not tired caused it requires finding the balance which is really hard if you’re already trained smt else to being tired/fatigued. (start of practice session or 20-30mins morning is great). If you train constantly for months, muscle memory will help. For stacking, I also highly recommend AJ47’s 7 secrets way to get better, that particular video also help me alot.

@@alexomontesbronx9858 If you're in the states, Home Depot or Lowe's would probably have rolls that you can buy. You just give them your desired measurements.
