10. Enjoy the Ao Nang beaches & sunset
Ao Nang Beach is a great place to admire the Andaman sea, take a dip, and watch the sunset.
9. Explore the food & nightlife at Ao Nang
The Soi RCA Entertainment area is the place to go if you’re looking for a late night party.
8. Go For an Island-Hopping Tour
We did a day trip by longtail boat, covering 4 islands. There were multiple stops for swimming and snorkeling and a stop at Railay Beach.

7. Hike the Wat Tham Sua
Sitting right outside of Krabi Town, the Tiger Cave Temple is certainly worth a visit. Most visitors come to climb the 1,260 steps to the top of the hill.
6. Explore Thung Teao Forest Natural Park
There is a short boardwalk trail that takes you to three different pools in the middle of the jungle: Crystal Pool, Emerald Pool, and the Blue Pool.
5. Dip into the Krabi Hot Springs
Cut into smooth rocks, the hot springs flow from deep rooted thermal springs that are located inside volcanic chambers.

4. Krabi Town Weekend Night Market
Krabi Town is the capital of Krabi. And like many other big towns in Thailand, there is a local night market here. Every Friday to Sunday from 4 to 10 PM the market is set up next to the Chao Fah Pier.
3. Go on a boat tour to Koh Phi Phi
Koh Phi Phi are undoubtedly Krabi’s most popular islands to visit. From Ao Nang, you can join a full-day speedboat tour to the islands, which are encircled with sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and spectacular natural scenery.

2. Relax a few days at Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta Yai is an island about a 3 hour drive away from Ao Nang. With a variety of unspoiled beaches, it’s a great place to relax. There are also certified diving schools offering diving and snorkeling trips to nearby islands and reefs.
1. Railay beach rock climbing
Railay beach is home to white sand beaches, cute bars and restaurants, as well as its spectacular caves, such as Phra Nang and Diamond Cave. It's also a rock climbing destination.

Why no one mentions the fact, how well-organised this video is? Lovely to no bullshit information, everything is well labelled, clear instructions where we can find more information. Rare to find these kinds of gems in the sea of content. Lovely work, thanks guys, will start follow you. :)
Thanks so much for these kind words! Appreciate it ☺️
agreed. thats what i do in my videos too. get rid of the fluff and get to the point.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. ❤
Could not have said it better myself. Your videos have been so pleasant to watch and helpful on refining where we travel next!! You are now our first stop for information.
so true... this was well done. Thanks guys. New subscriber
Perjalanan yang sangat menarik
Another good destination near Krabi are the saline hot springs, one of the very few hot saltwater springs in the world. I went there yesterday, and was the only foreigner. Tourists don't seem to know about this place, and it's not far from the Emerald Pool and cascading hot springs. Another cool activity at Railay is to climb up to the viewpoint from where there's an awesome view of the peninsula. You can also descend to the lagoon below.
All your videos are excellent. The format is 1st class, so informative. Thank you so much for helping us to plan our 1st trip to Thailand....
Thank you so much for putting this amazing video together! so informative and interesting!
Great overview video! The only thing I found a bit odd that I would want to make clear to folks is: While Koh Lanta Yai was the only island described as "small" in this video, it is by far the biggest island mentioned in this video.
Nice 👍
Thank you dears for this informative video, God bless 🙏🏻
probably the best krabi video
I would like to take your tips to my heart for further knowledge and spreading. And thank you for making my hometown louder. 🎉❤😊
Clear, concise and to the point. Thank you. I'll visit the Emerald pool tomorrow.
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed your trip out there

Krabi is so beautiful! Our favorite beach destination in southern Thailand ☺️
We're headed to Krabi soon, thanks for the helpful video.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy Krabi!
thanks for the efforts. saved and subscribed for future reference
Awesome, thank you!
I am watching this from Ao Nang on my 2nd day, travelling overland by car from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur ❤ crowded and touristy but worth the visit - whilst it's too early to tell, I could already do so ❤
Enjoy! 😎 it’s a beautiful place
I've been to Thailand many times and pretty much saw the most know places, but Krabi is one of the few places I never went yet. I'm heading over there this summer, so thanks for the inspirational ideas.
Enjoy your time there! It's a great beach destination!
English please
We are going today. Thanks for the vid. Chiang Mai, koh samui, koh tao, koh nang yuan, to Krabi.
Krabi was the best place I visited in Thailand. I spent four days here and i had a great time. I hope to return again someday.

Awesome
I have stayed in Ao Nang in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020 on my 3rd and 4th Thailand trip respectively,. I have visited all the places in the video (except the clubbing part). On my 3rd trip to Thailand, I did stay 5 nights in Ao Nang, then 3 nights in Koh Phi Phi Don, then 1 night in Koh Lanta but I did see a few beaches there and then 3 nights in Koh Lipe in the deep south. Personally, I prefer Krabi over Phuket any day
Absolutely agreed with the Krabi over Phuket part! Krabi was our favorite region in the south. We also made it to Koh Lipe, such a beautiful slice of paradise...
@@worldwildhearts Krabi (including Koh Phi Phi, Railey, Koh Lanta and Ao Nang) and Koh Lipe are my favourite parts of Thailand
Thanks this info on Krabi it’s sounds more appealing than Phunket.. to use as a base for tours☯️👁
Yes we agree. Krabi has more of the beautiful limestone cliffs and so many islands near
Класс! 👍
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Heading there on 19th Should be fun
Awesome! That's the exact date we fly out of Thailand hah
I have been looking at a lot of your Thailand videos and planning places to visit. Great videos by the way. Did you look up all these places before hand, or was it word of mouth, did locals tell you where to go? Do I have to plan everything ahead or can I just find different adventures there?
Thank you! We usually do research before we visit a place. But once we're there, we get more recommendations from other travelers and locals that we add to our plans! So you definitely don't need to book everything in advance. For some people it's just a piece of mind... others like to be more flexible and go with the flow! 😉 Have a great trip!
interesting video
Thanks!
Greetings Zac and 8na! Love your vids! Keep up the good work! My partner and I are visiting Krabi the top of August, which we know to be the rainy season. What activities do you suggest if we get hit with a lot of rain while we're there? Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words! 😊 You could definitely still do the Tiger Cave Temple, Hot Springs, Emerald Pool, and the night market. There are also other activities like a Thai cooking class... It's rainy seasons but the rains might be short and sharp storms (like an hour or two). So hopefully you'll be all fine! I heard climbing courses are available year-round too
Great piece of work Zac & Ine. Can you please help me understand how do you select background music for your videos?
We use Artlist music, but we pay for a yearly license which allows us to use lots of songs
Hi i just watched this video, as i'm planing to go to thailand. This video has great information i really like it. Thank you!
Krabi was an option to go to but i'm not sure if it's a good time to go by the end of october beginning november? I don't know much about the rainseason in thailand. Or are there other places in thailand you would recommend to go instead of krabi?
The raining season generally lasts from June to October... so November might be better! However, the climate has been changing so much that even in April last year we had some major storms in that area!
Nice video 👍
Thank you! 😁
Thank you for this beautiful and informative video! 😍 did you need Covid vaccination to go to Thailand?
Not that we're aware of... nobody asked us anything!
Hi there
1st of all, love your video. This is the 1st one I have watched which really gave me some direction
Question. : can I plan this trip along with my soon to be mom wife ? And if yes then what all should I avoid and surely must do.
Your reply would be very helpful
If there is anything else you want to suggest. Please do.
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Yes, it's definitely a safe destination that you can visit with your mom wife. You might want to fly into the airport near Krabi instead of Phuket (from Phuket it's a bit long bus ride). There are many great hotels in Ao Nang, and you can probably do the day tours on the mainland, and maybe make your way to Railay Beach to enjoy some sun and relaxation
Thank you so much! We are going there in August! We are still unsure where to stay between Phi Phi don or Ao nang! Lol
Hmm both are nice! Phi Phi Don has less things to do, except for relaxing at the beach, a hike to the viewpoint, and a tour to Maya Bay. From Ao Nang, there are more cool things to do, but it's the bigger one of the two with more resorts (so feels less like a paradise island). Maybe you can combine both? We stayed 6 nights in Ao Nang and did many trips and activities, we also stayed 2 night on Phi Phi Don.
Great Video,
We're going to Thailand for my wife's 50th.
We like great beaches scenery and reasonable night life not too sleazy.
Question is Krabi or Khao Lak ?
Then which part of Phuket ?
for the second week
Thanks
Sounds like an amazing present! Krabi is busier than Khao Lak. Khao Lak is more for relaxing, Krabi has tons of things to do. For Phuket, we'd recommend staying at the west side, but outside Patong. Areas like Karon, Kata Beach, or Ya Nui are better in our opinion.
Thanks for the reply,
You have given me some really useful advice.👍👍
How and Where do you hire the boat tours?
We added some links below the video! You can also find the boat tours in town itself, there are many tour agencies that can book it for you.
Thank you for your content, thats exactly what i want, nothing more than helpful things!
Btw, do you show us the tao island?
Thanks! 😄 we don’t show a separate video on Koh Tao as we didn’t spend enough time to make a full video (we also got pretty sick when we were there so that didn’t help!). We do have a video about Koh Samui coming this Saturday and next week an overall Thailand video with our top 15 places!
But the question is what is the best part of krabi you recommend to live to get the most of all these wonderful activities?
Definitely Ao Nang… it’s the best connected of all the places we mention!
What is the span of days to visit all the listed places ?
Maybe 4-5 days 😊 Add a few more days to visit Koh Lanta though
Did you guys get to go to bamboo island when you went on the boat tour
We didn’t! But it’s a stop many boat tours include
Hello Zac and Ine, thank you for such an informative video! I am planning to visit Krabi in a couple of months, where in Krabi would you recommend that we stay?
We stayed in Ao Nang which was a good base to explore other places from. Another beautiful place to stay would be Railay, though you’re a little more limited in doing trips from there (as it’s only accessible by boat).
@@worldwildhearts thank you!
Hi! We are planning to visit that area in February for 5 days. Any suggestion on where to be based to see most of the place around? After that we will go to Ko Tao. Thank you
Ao Nang is a good base as you can easily visit the islands, but also take a short boat ride to Railay, or explore the mainland of Krabi ☺️
hello! how much did u paid to engage the longtail boat to take u through the 4 islands tour?
We booked a tour so it wasn't a private tour! You can check the tour price in the description below the video
10th January 2024 - 12:49pm
How long does it take to get to PP island from Krabi? On the full day tour, how many hours are you on a boat? The day trip looks great but I don’t want to spend hours on a boat moving from one place to the next. Thanks
It takes at least 45 mins by speedboat to get to Phi Phi. But even at Phi PHi, you still will go by boat between all the different islands... If you're concerned about too much time on the boat, it might be better to take a ferry to Phi PHi Don and then stay a few days. Do a boat tour from Phi Phi Don to Maya Bay!
Fantastic video again!
Did you eat Durian??
We didn’t eat it there! But tried it in Malaysia, very yummy!
Minimum days require to stay in Krabi? How long you guys stay there? Is July favorable month to visit?
We stayed about a week. Minimum we would say is 3-4 days. Lots of things to do in and around Krabi! July can get a bit rainy because it’s raining season
Going in March with family.....Phuket vs Krabi....which is better??
Krabi for its landscapes and wide range of activities! Phuket if you're looking for a more upscale vibe and accommodation
Do I understand correctly that I should stay in Ao Nang for 3-4 days and travel to Phi Phi, Hong Island, Railey and Ko Kai from there? Or should I stay in each place for a night?
Depends on you. I wouldn’t change location every night, that would be exhausting. You could base yourself in Ao Nang and visit Hong Island and Railay from there. You could stay one or two nights in Phi Phi Don and visit Maya Bay from there as well.
Which one is better in term of cost and time? Phuket to Phi Phi island or Krabi to Phi Phi
They're both equally as far when it comes to time I think...
i m going thailand in march. Do i have to prebook tours like phi phi ?
You definitely don’t! It’s just a piece of mind 😄
I’m going solo travelling around Thailand, Cambodia n Vietnam in October has anyone got any advice/must do’s! ?
Which part of Thailand?
@@judithbr4022 chiang mai ko phi phi n Bangkok
I hate the music but the video is very well made!! thank you
Thanks I guess! 🤣
Hie i am planning to visit Thailand in December so how many days should i spend in krabi?
3-5 days depending on how much activities you want to fit in ☺️
Hi. Is it suitable to visit Krabi in April end?
Yes that's still a good time! It will be very hot though ;)
Doesnt your drone battery die every half hour. How do u manage to capture so many shots in day trip
Well we were there for multiple days so we took drone shots at different moments. Like we went back to Railay twice so the shots were not all taken on the day trip. Also, we have 3 batteries for our drone! 😀
@@worldwildhearts oh i see! Do you have any suggestion on alternatives for the remote control battery dying while being outside? Or do you just have go back and charge for another day? (Sucks it doesn't run for long)
Can we book a day prior from get your guide?
Yes you can unless it gets booked up 😊 we booked the day before. If you can’t book anymore on getyourguide, you’ll sure find a tour in the town
@@worldwildhearts thanks a lot!!
Hey! How many days did you do in krabi?
We spent a week there. But you can fit most activities in 4-5 days
fireshow on wheelchair 😮
Yes not all of the performers, but one guy was in a wheelchair!
Can someone tell me if it is possible to visit Krabi, Phuket, and Phi Phi in 3 days. And are they close to another?
To be honest, that would be a very busy 3 days and you would spend most of your time travelling, rather than seeing/doing stuff! Phuket is by far the biggest island and you could easily spend a week and not see it all. We have just returned from 2 1/2 weeks in this area - we spent 3 nights/4 days on Phuket, then a boat to Phi Phi Don for 4 nights/5 days stay, then on to Koh Lanta for a 6 nights/7 days stay. We returned via road to Phuket via Krabi for a further 2 night/3 days stay. We still had lots to see and do! Phi Phi and Lanta were our favourites by a country mile over Phuket
@@danskinner73 Thanks for the advice.
I’d skip Phuket and stay in Krabi for your 3 days! Then do a day tour to Phi Phi instead 😊
What about for 7-8 nights? Is that enough for krabi and Phuket? Or would you still just choose one?
Would you suggest pre-booking the 4 island tour online, or could you book the day of, or the day before?
You can definitely book the day before as well! ☺️ wouldn’t wait until the day of as they need to prepare the pick up etc
Four island hoping is a day out really. stopping on Islands, also stopping to eat the meals they provide (some tours) on one of the islands. Defo not an on the day booking, you can get on the day bookings with smaller tours and boat taxi rides to specific islands like Railay Beach.
The best mainland beach is a place called Klong Muang Beach and it's only 20 mins away from Ao Nang. This beach has hardly no tourist on it and is right up there with any of the island beaches. Best bit is, it's free lol, not that anything is major expensive there anyway.
czcams.com/video/2-pXgljhsfE/video.html
ahh, Am I tripping or it is a shark at 7:30???
Yes there were some little reef sharks there! They are pretty small though and don't harm
Good tips and nice content. Just FYI, your music volume is very loud- your voice and the volume of the background music do not match and I couldn’t watch till the end because of the piercing music all of sudden then your quiet voice then loud background music again. Too much
May be are you just have a depression?)))
How did you travel? Grab or rented a car?
Mostly Grab and public transportation! We didn't rent a car for this part of the country.
Guess who's gonna screw it up?
These channel postings.
What's the LESSON from the film 'The Beach' ????
Chiangmai is not so friendly than south
Am sorry to say but our visit to krabi was not a good experience atleast for me as i found most of the fenale shopkeepers very impolite and rude to the extent that i had to walk out as i could take it no more..
What is the Average budget for the whole trip?
Depending on your level of comfort. Can be cheap (2-5$ per meal, 20-30$ per night for a double room, and activities 10-30$ per person per day). But you can also go a lot more expensive if you decide to stay in a nice accommodation and eat at waterfront touristic restaurants
@@worldwildhearts Thank you🙌
Ya thanks
Thanks for watching!
