I would love to see Rebecca do a video going through a few scenarios of the "Trolley Problem". As an atheist i think the first few set ups are pretty easy and straight forward to answer, but i dont think iv ever seen someone like Rebecca, who has a deep belief of sin and hell, discuss it and their reasoning for their choices. Id be interested to know if somehow she reasons her choices into the same alignment as someone like me or not. And its a similar topic to this video, about weight of a life verses another.
A person could rescue another person and their dog or a dog too as well. If a person has struggled a lot with humans they may be more inclined to rescue their dog or a dog. We shouldn’t put them on the same level as humans but some people are animal lovers as long as they love god more
But if they love God, they should love other humans as well regardless of what they've done. I understand that's hard but we do it in God’s strength and not our own, after all He loved us all while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8
Just grab the dog and tell the person to move, if you have time to rescue them, then they have time to get out of the way, the dog won't likely understand if you yell "there is a bus coming", a person will and if they are smart they will move
Such sad comments! Humans over animals. The heart of God loves all His creation, but people are infinitely more valuable! I pray nobody is ever put in such a situation to have to choose, but if so, risking your or your animal’s life for the sake of fellow man is LITERALLY what Jesus did, so we should too. Hard for sure! But worth it eternally.
dogs also hurt other animals very badly, no creature is perfect, but people have a chance to be perfected rather than any animal.. I would advise you to choose a person, whether they are evil, they can change and bring much wonders to all creation... a dog only loves you coz u provide food and care for it, its love can never be genuine.. treat it bad and it will turn against you but a person can love unconditionally ("CAN")...
