If anything confrontation is the last thing we want to do in the name of "keeping the peace" but that's just not loving your brothers and sisters in Christ enough to push them towards Jesus.

Awesome stuff Becca! For me the struggle is not only speaking the truth in love, but also tolerating offenses to the faith. I mean, sharing the gospel in love is hard, but what I find harder is how to react in love when someone deliberately offends the gospel. Does that make sense?
I completely agree! Different faith traditions or a complete lack of faith in a god is challenging. One thing along with brining this offence of the gospel to them, I suggest is praying over their lives, for God to show Himself to them. Similar concept to Paul seeing Jesus. Hope that helps!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not perfect, so I tend to accept people where they are. If they ask me a question about their life, I will tell them. Otherwise I just don't criticize them.

The only comment that I want to make, base your message from what’s in the Bible, and not what you have heard from listening to your pastors of your past. Question- The premise here is that the sin you speak of is made know publicly either by common knowledge or by the sinner himself. What about those sins that are never made known? Even by those doing the rebuking? So are you sure you want to hold this position that “we” are to rebuke those who sin when there may be many more we dont even know that are in sin that are doing the rebuking?

Hi Becca, I'm currently in a situation. I feel like I know myself well enough by now that if I attempt to be right with God establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ, I'll surely fall and repeat this cycle of failing, of making mistakes, and/or of making wrong choices. I've tried to comprehend this the best way I can; I've tried applying God's fear into my life, I've tried applying the unlimited grace, mercy, and forgiveness that He provides with constant repentance, I've tried to simply create a relationship with Him, and I've tried just loving Him with everything. I feel like my faith plays a huge part in this because my faith feels very weak. My mind can't really put fear of God into myself due to not being able to see his wrath first hand. My mind doesn't understand a God who can forgive so much to where I can't even forgive myself as many times as He can. My mind can't build a relationship with Him because it requires assumption of knowing of what He said after I pray from intellectual Bible comprehension with the Holy Spirit. My mind can't love Him with everything because I don't even know how to love myself with everything, maybe passively, but I don't think that's the kind of love God is referring to. Everything just seems so complicated. I've got to the point where I'm assuming that I'm not going to heaven and I believe that. Wherever I go, I keep thinking about how God isn't far away that He's right there with open arms waiting for me to come back to Him. I truly miss Him in my life. I just can't bear to fail Him anymore. It offends me to fail Him, so instead, within this conundrum, I just stop playing this game of forgiveness and accept that I'm just not good enough. I'm aware that we're not saved by righteousness, but it doesn't mean that we don't stop doing our part in the faith, and that part is what I keep failing to do. I've been taught that, failing God is the whole life of Christianity on this earth until we take our last breath, it's simply just not giving up in repentance. Then there's this dilemma where you can't be a hypocrite by practicing sin as a pure heart true born again Christian. While sin is practiced or not God knows your true intentions, but sin is still a sin. My intention with this is to find advice because I just don't seem to understand how to live a Christian life. I know what I have to do to be saved, but it requires tremendous effort, diligence, and faith in which feels like a perfect standard that is completely unreachable; I've attempted this too, I felt like a robot. I know there's hope, that's what I'm holding on to.
You aren’t saved by works but by grace. If you’ve confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead and asked forgiveness from your sins you are saved. The demons will often try to get you to doubt your salvation. Keep going. Run the good race. I’ll keep you in prayers

I think it's objective versus subjective truth. The world teaches subjective truth, do whatever you want to do based on what you think, the world is a mess. If there is God who made everything out of nothing, objective truth is dictated from God since God made reality. God gave us the Bible to guide us, and the Holy Spirit to believers. It's written in the Bible: "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
I live in a predominately Muslim area and their idea on Jesus differs, yes that goes for other idea, but they directly believe that Jesus did not die on a cross! It is heartbreaking for me to see the works-based-salvation I see around here. I invite prayers over Muslims, for God to open their hardened hearts to reach the gospel

Even though God has already forgiven us when we sin, He still is upset that we did it. Not only is He upset, He is heartbroken and hurt by it. I don't want to purposefully hurt Him anymore. I know that I am human. I know humans make mistakes. But I don't want to intentionally sin and break His heart. Praise God that we are no longer "sinners saved by grace" (once we are born again, we are not sinners anymore), but we are His children saved by grace and His love. Jesus made that possible for us. If the Catholic Church would not call it a mortal sin, then anyone else who says you are going to hell for doing so clearly has no idea of what they are talking about. Pray to God about it. Seek forgiveness for going against your God-given instincts. Confess through a priest if you are Catholic if need be, but do not worry, eating that melon did not cost you eternity in heaven.

@@nobodyspecial9035 I had a narrow path experience when I was younger. I was walking home at night and looked up the road to my home and seen a gang of people. I seen in what I can only think was a vision that they where going to surround me and beat and kick me. So I looked and thought well there is the road on the left and right it would be longer but it is easier paths and I heard in my self a small still voice say if I did it would be worse for me and felt it would just be more pain but I could die if I did. So I said to my friend that was with me when we walk up this strait road to my home there people will surround me and said to him when they do he has to run to my home and tell my father. So we walked up and the surrounded me and my friend ran and they beat me and kicked me all over the pavement and into the middle of the road. But in the end my father came and the people ran off and he helped me back to my home. And I could not see at the time the prophetic meaning in all this. Going up the strait and narrow path if you stumble I will come and help you and not to turn to the left or right path because they are easier and will lead to death but I thank God for that day because it showed me he can use hard things for his good it changed me over time to seek him and I seen the message. So I thank God every day for his love and patience. After the lockdown in the UK stated I said an odd thing to my ex that my mum and dad would not last the lockdown. My mum and dad where okay and I was talking to my dad again I said an odd thing the last two times I talked to him that he had to turn the other cheek and forgive others before he "passes on" my dad said not to preach to him he would not listen and had bitterness for my ex partner. Then my mum got ill and went into hospital then when my mum was getting better he got ill and had to go into hospital. Then he died on the 10th of April then resurrection Sunday was on the 12th and then my mum died on the 14th all over Passover. I am still trying to deal with that with all the madness from the so called "virus". Point is I was saying thing from no place and this is not the 1st time it happened in my life. When I was 15 my dad told me to go to the shops so okay that should be okay I did that loads of times before the shop was right over the road to where we lived. This time I stopped and said to him out my mouth from no place if I go out I will be bottled. This went on a bit my dad didn't listen and I went out to the hop and coming back a group of guys got in front of me and one from behind me bottled me overt he head and I ran home. Now I have had times like that a couple of times just saying thing from no place and it happened. I had a dream once of a car crash where I lived as a child I seen a school and the shops next to it and flats. it disturbed me not like any dream I had and 3 days later a family member died in a car crash where I dreamed it happened. I am not saying any of this to puff my self up because I am not and it is hard talking about some of this but these thing I know was from the Holy Spirit not from me and turned me to Jesus and I just don't want people to be blind to what is coming. I was in a bad relationship my ex was paranoid would get physically and verbally violent if I seen any woman be it on TV or outside so I stopped watching TV haven't watched it since 2001 and I stopped even going out side because every time I did she would think I was looking at women it wasn't easy but I loved her and wanted to show her that well it didn't word it wasn't as bad but she still found excuses to get mad. So after about 13 years of this I couldn't take any more I was on my last strew and it says God will only give you what you can handle so I asked on my face in absolute faith for help. If I left my ex she would use my kids as weapons against me say I ran away and so on and I couldn't have my kids be used that way and knew the only thing that would set me free was if I found she was doing things behind my back so I asked God to set me free. Three days later my ex came up into the room and I said to her out of no place I know what you been doing on facebook. Now I don't know where that came from because I didn't have any idea at all but her face turned white and I was like what she did something. Then she said well you know now then we are over and she said that she was chatting another man up over facebook so I got what I prayed for a way out it wasn't nice and hard but I got free of a bad relationship and my kids where not used as weapons. When I eventually had a place to go and was going out I stopped and said to her from no place again she will never have another child. She is the type of woman that loves having babies and from that time on she has tried a lot but ever time she has miscarried. So this is just some of the thing but I will put the one that started to change me and turn me from the world and on the road to Jesus now. Coming to Jesus on my face after over 20 years of being in bondage to addiction just like with my ex coming to Jesus in belief like a child trusting a parent in humbleness, meekness and tears truly believing fully on Jesus and not my self asking to be free from the bondage of addiction and then having that addiction just lifted off me with no withdrawals nothing just gone wasn't my power not believing on my self or trying to do strange things to make my self give it up. All I had to do was truly believe and have faith like a child in a parent and it is hard to get to that point as an adult but if you can and let all go and truly believe and trust Jesus fully he can do anything.

If anything confrontation is the last thing we want to do in the name of "keeping the peace" but that's just not loving your brothers and sisters in Christ enough to push them towards Jesus.

Awesome stuff Becca! For me the struggle is not only speaking the truth in love, but also tolerating offenses to the faith. I mean, sharing the gospel in love is hard, but what I find harder is how to react in love when someone deliberately offends the gospel. Does that make sense?
I completely agree! Different faith traditions or a complete lack of faith in a god is challenging. One thing along with brining this offence of the gospel to them, I suggest is praying over their lives, for God to show Himself to them. Similar concept to Paul seeing Jesus. Hope that helps!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not perfect, so I tend to accept people where they are. If they ask me a question about their life, I will tell them. Otherwise I just don't criticize them.

The only comment that I want to make, base your message from what’s in the Bible, and not what you have heard from listening to your pastors of your past. Question-
The premise here is that the sin you speak of is made know publicly either by common knowledge or by the sinner himself. What about those sins that are never made known? Even by those doing the rebuking? So are you sure you want to hold this position that “we” are to rebuke those who sin when there may be many more we dont even know that are in sin that are doing the rebuking?

Hi Becca, I'm currently in a situation. I feel like I know myself well enough by now that if I attempt to be right with God establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ, I'll surely fall and repeat this cycle of failing, of making mistakes, and/or of making wrong choices. I've tried to comprehend this the best way I can; I've tried applying God's fear into my life, I've tried applying the unlimited grace, mercy, and forgiveness that He provides with constant repentance, I've tried to simply create a relationship with Him, and I've tried just loving Him with everything. I feel like my faith plays a huge part in this because my faith feels very weak. My mind can't really put fear of God into myself due to not being able to see his wrath first hand. My mind doesn't understand a God who can forgive so much to where I can't even forgive myself as many times as He can. My mind can't build a relationship with Him because it requires assumption of knowing of what He said after I pray from intellectual Bible comprehension with the Holy Spirit. My mind can't love Him with everything because I don't even know how to love myself with everything, maybe passively, but I don't think that's the kind of love God is referring to. Everything just seems so complicated. I've got to the point where I'm assuming that I'm not going to heaven and I believe that. Wherever I go, I keep thinking about how God isn't far away that He's right there with open arms waiting for me to come back to Him. I truly miss Him in my life. I just can't bear to fail Him anymore. It offends me to fail Him, so instead, within this conundrum, I just stop playing this game of forgiveness and accept that I'm just not good enough. I'm aware that we're not saved by righteousness, but it doesn't mean that we don't stop doing our part in the faith, and that part is what I keep failing to do. I've been taught that, failing God is the whole life of Christianity on this earth until we take our last breath, it's simply just not giving up in repentance. Then there's this dilemma where you can't be a hypocrite by practicing sin as a pure heart true born again Christian. While sin is practiced or not God knows your true intentions, but sin is still a sin. My intention with this is to find advice because I just don't seem to understand how to live a Christian life. I know what I have to do to be saved, but it requires tremendous effort, diligence, and faith in which feels like a perfect standard that is completely unreachable; I've attempted this too, I felt like a robot. I know there's hope, that's what I'm holding on to.
You aren’t saved by works but by grace. If you’ve confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead and asked forgiveness from your sins you are saved. The demons will often try to get you to doubt your salvation. Keep going. Run the good race. I’ll keep you in prayers

Just because something is offensive doesn’t make it true.
I think it's objective versus subjective truth. The world teaches subjective truth, do whatever you want to do based on what you think, the world is a mess.
If there is God who made everything out of nothing, objective truth is dictated from God since God made reality. God gave us the Bible to guide us, and the Holy Spirit to believers. It's written in the Bible:
"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
So respond to this....If you gave your heart to Jesus, why are you giving it to the flesh also?
I live in a predominately Muslim area and their idea on Jesus differs, yes that goes for other idea, but they directly believe that Jesus did not die on a cross! It is heartbreaking for me to see the works-based-salvation I see around here. I invite prayers over Muslims, for God to open their hardened hearts to reach the gospel

I can't stop smoking weed and I know God doesn't like that. I get so freaked out, if I died before I overcome this what will happen. Some think the prize in Heaven won't be as great, like front row seats as opposed to back row seats. Then other people think its just a one way ticket to Hell. I'm just struggling

Even though God has already forgiven us when we sin, He still is upset that we did it. Not only is He upset, He is heartbroken and hurt by it. I don't want to purposefully hurt Him anymore. I know that I am human. I know humans make mistakes. But I don't want to intentionally sin and break His heart. Praise God that we are no longer "sinners saved by grace" (once we are born again, we are not sinners anymore), but we are His children saved by grace and His love. Jesus made that possible for us. If the Catholic Church would not call it a mortal sin, then anyone else who says you are going to hell for doing so clearly has no idea of what they are talking about. Pray to God about it. Seek forgiveness for going against your God-given instincts. Confess through a priest if you are Catholic if need be, but do not worry, eating that melon did not cost you eternity in heaven.

Also Revelation 17:10 is meant to be known when it happens because it says "and one is" and that is present tense so that prophecy is to be known when the 6th leader is in power why else would Jesus give to John to use present tense in prophecy.
The Holy Spirit said the one after Trump will be used by Obama to get back into power with flatteries and not being voted back into power. I do not know how this happens I am just saying what I got from the Holy Spirit. But there is one thing I seen recently. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announcing legislation that would create a commission to allow Congress to intervene under the amendment and remove the president from executive duties. She said this is not for Trump but for presidents after Trump that are mentally or physically impaired. With this they can move power from a president that is not able to perform there duties and move it to another that is not the VP.
This came to me in the spirit from the Holy Spirit and I have had other things happen in my life that I know was from the Holy Spirit.

@@nobodyspecial9035 I had a narrow path experience when I was younger. I was walking home at night and looked up the road to my home and seen a gang of people. I seen in what I can only think was a vision that they where going to surround me and beat and kick me. So I looked and thought well there is the road on the left and right it would be longer but it is easier paths and I heard in my self a small still voice say if I did it would be worse for me and felt it would just be more pain but I could die if I did. So I said to my friend that was with me when we walk up this strait road to my home there people will surround me and said to him when they do he has to run to my home and tell my father. So we walked up and the surrounded me and my friend ran and they beat me and kicked me all over the pavement and into the middle of the road. But in the end my father came and the people ran off and he helped me back to my home. And I could not see at the time the prophetic meaning in all this. Going up the strait and narrow path if you stumble I will come and help you and not to turn to the left or right path because they are easier and will lead to death but I thank God for that day because it showed me he can use hard things for his good it changed me over time to seek him and I seen the message. So I thank God every day for his love and patience.
After the lockdown in the UK stated I said an odd thing to my ex that my mum and dad would not last the lockdown. My mum and dad where okay and I was talking to my dad again I said an odd thing the last two times I talked to him that he had to turn the other cheek and forgive others before he "passes on" my dad said not to preach to him he would not listen and had bitterness for my ex partner. Then my mum got ill and went into hospital then when my mum was getting better he got ill and had to go into hospital. Then he died on the 10th of April then resurrection Sunday was on the 12th and then my mum died on the 14th all over Passover. I am still trying to deal with that with all the madness from the so called "virus". Point is I was saying thing from no place and this is not the 1st time it happened in my life.
When I was 15 my dad told me to go to the shops so okay that should be okay I did that loads of times before the shop was right over the road to where we lived. This time I stopped and said to him out my mouth from no place if I go out I will be bottled. This went on a bit my dad didn't listen and I went out to the hop and coming back a group of guys got in front of me and one from behind me bottled me overt he head and I ran home. Now I have had times like that a couple of times just saying thing from no place and it happened.
I had a dream once of a car crash where I lived as a child I seen a school and the shops next to it and flats. it disturbed me not like any dream I had and 3 days later a family member died in a car crash where I dreamed it happened. I am not saying any of this to puff my self up because I am not and it is hard talking about some of this but these thing I know was from the Holy Spirit not from me and turned me to Jesus and I just don't want people to be blind to what is coming.
I was in a bad relationship my ex was paranoid would get physically and verbally violent if I seen any woman be it on TV or outside so I stopped watching TV haven't watched it since 2001 and I stopped even going out side because every time I did she would think I was looking at women it wasn't easy but I loved her and wanted to show her that well it didn't word it wasn't as bad but she still found excuses to get mad. So after about 13 years of this I couldn't take any more I was on my last strew and it says God will only give you what you can handle so I asked on my face in absolute faith for help. If I left my ex she would use my kids as weapons against me say I ran away and so on and I couldn't have my kids be used that way and knew the only thing that would set me free was if I found she was doing things behind my back so I asked God to set me free. Three days later my ex came up into the room and I said to her out of no place I know what you been doing on facebook. Now I don't know where that came from because I didn't have any idea at all but her face turned white and I was like what she did something. Then she said well you know now then we are over and she said that she was chatting another man up over facebook so I got what I prayed for a way out it wasn't nice and hard but I got free of a bad relationship and my kids where not used as weapons. When I eventually had a place to go and was going out I stopped and said to her from no place again she will never have another child. She is the type of woman that loves having babies and from that time on she has tried a lot but ever time she has miscarried. So this is just some of the thing but I will put the one that started to change me and turn me from the world and on the road to Jesus now.
Coming to Jesus on my face after over 20 years of being in bondage to addiction just like with my ex coming to Jesus in belief like a child trusting a parent in humbleness, meekness and tears truly believing fully on Jesus and not my self asking to be free from the bondage of addiction and then having that addiction just lifted off me with no withdrawals nothing just gone wasn't my power not believing on my self or trying to do strange things to make my self give it up. All I had to do was truly believe and have faith like a child in a parent and it is hard to get to that point as an adult but if you can and let all go and truly believe and trust Jesus fully he can do anything.
