That is her personality. And it's what makes her special. You can look anywhere and see a hot girl acting perky and bubbly but the contrast between her looks and here laid back, chill, and almost quirky personality is what separates her from other actresses.
She has a really cool awkwardness about her. Like she's awkward.. But in a way that makes people love her. Not the kind of awkward that will condemn her to years of loneliness.

I find it astounding that so many people interpret her irregular speech and social awkwardness as her being unintelligent. I find it equally astounding that people think it's an act, too. There's plenty of brain power in there, and it's a shame that people think that lack of "regular" communication is a sure sign of being dumb.

People don't realize she is acting this way intentionally, that awkward yet cute and oh-so-sexy deadpan humour. That subtle smile caused by the repression of her laughter makes me stiff.

It's actually not just an act she has a brain disorder called expressive aphasia from a stroke in college. It's a condition where people like her cant express certain emotions or attitudes through language such as inflections and intonations. So the speaker comes off as monotone or expressiveless maybe seeming even rude or uninterested. So her "deadpan" delivery and humor is actually her disorder. She of course uses that combined with a quick wit and over sarcasm which is just absolutely genius. Love her.

For clarification, she only had expression aphasia during her recovery time after the stroke, which was only a few days. The stroke itself wasn't even that major. The reason she seems weird and has no speaks with no expression is because she's perfect with dead pan humor. Which, by the way, makes her so much more sexy than she already is.
