i had a pregnant sim, and she was talking to mimsy. i made her share the big news to her and mimsy says something like "i wish a had a little boy to run around and play with." i cant remember exactly what it was, but it made me look into it. im glad i found this video! its so interesting. subbed.

Have anyone else noticed that Bernard and Bjorn (a townie from get together) have the same nose shape and Mimsy and Sofia (Bjorn's daughter) have similar looking faces as well as blonde hair and blue eyes.

Whoa, literally so mind blown lol I was so intrigued and into this. I felt like I was watching Unsolved Mysterious on tv. The commentary was absolutely amazing and it kept my attention. You did a great job. I would have never been able to figure something like this out. Like, just wow. Amazing.

I think Lady Mimsy was with child and Lord Bernard was enrage when he found out. Then through his blind rage destroyed the paintings from being so conflicted. I do think he killed both her and himself on accident.

Kiki Isabeast oh gosh exactly. I never noticed how clever and deep the pre made sims' back stories are. I have such a new found appreciation of of the pre made sims.
This vid inspired me to visit the chateau again. I found out that mimsy and bernard will tell u multiple things when u get to know them. Mimsy just told my sim that she was forced to marry bernard by her own mom and that she misses the dances her parents organized. She also said how excited she was when bernard brought a radio home lmao
Bernard told my sim that he married mimsy bc his family was broke (as you said in the video)
and that he never wanted to become like his father. They both also talked about the love they still feel for each other.
But what is really interesting is that one thing what bernard said:

My dream was to follow in the great masters footsteps keep living in the stories the sims tell: Simonet (Monet in rl), Van Simgoh (Van Gogh in rl) and *Shallot*
I talked to mimsy and bernhard with six different sims but they didn't tell me more than I just said. I'm sure there are more answers tho. This is interesting af, I really enjoyed watching your vid.

This all makes me think that maybe the place The Sims Medieval is set, is Windenburg in the future? it would make sense too cause The Sims Medieval is not exactly set in the universe of The Sims 1,2 & 3 but rather a seperate universe. And The Sims 4 is also set in a alternative universe like The Sims Medieval so maybe The Sims Medieval is the past of The Sims 4??
+TheCrazyBritish I feel like Chrill should talk a lot more about those separate sim stories. It'd be pretty interesting, I'm sure. (Like The Sims Medieval, The Sims games for the DS and consoles.)

No, it doesn't have anything to do with the Goth, Specter, Newbie, or Pleasant family stories, BUT it has its own surprisingly creepy or emotional stories referencing series or poems, and yeah, before I started watching your videos I never thought the Sims could have such dark, deep stories to tell but you opened my eyes and I thank you for this.
I love game theory videos but nobody ever bothered to make a series about strange happenings or family backstories on the Sims games, and this has made me subscribe to your channel last year.
Keep it up! You're doing a great job.

I played The Sims 4 for 3 years, but I just found out now that there are sea monsters in Windenburgs 😣.

I’ve LOVED that poem from my childhood of Anne of Green Gables and Agatha Christie. Also, love that Mimsy is a nonsense word from The Jabberwocky poem, meaning flimsy and miserable.
Windernburg has always been my favourite and I love it even more now. :)

On the sims 4 three poor teenagers named Malcolm Langgarber, Wolfgang Munch and Bella Mickey all went to "Von Haunt Estate" and all got split up! Malcolm was following Bernard, Wolfgang was following mimsy and Bella was lost in the maze at mid night but luckily Wolfgang and Malcolm found her in time but they all went home tense for being scared

I gave Bernard back his easel and he paints masterpieces!!! I set up an easel in the attic and yep after he slept the first thing he did was start painting.

What I absolutely love about Chrillsims' videos is that he thinks into the stories of things in the Sims that other people might just overlook, and adds a whole different meaning to the game. I love these videos!

This is so informative! I actually tried bringing them back to life and their first child is a female (I'll probably change her name to Elaine) and the second one is a male. I turned the Von Haunt Estate (the generic one) into a residential and they're now living there. BUT, the game spawned Mimsy and Bernard's ghosts in the original estate (the chalet garden). The human Mimsy and Bernard retain their ghost abilities though. I also made a video of them dancing. I edited it to make it look like it was taken before they died.
I love these sims facts! So curious about these stuff and I'm glad someone is talking about it.

you need to be level 10 in cooking, and you need to cook ambrosia.

You can get a spellcaster sim at level 4 or 5 to do Dedeathify on their ghosts, which can bring Sims back to life
18th century. She is dressed like an Edwardian women of 1900s (20th century. The Edwardian Era is the named given to The reing of Edward of windsor heir of the throne after her mother Victoria of Saxe and Cobourgh and Gotha.) But this video was interresting
This is so horrible! I have had time to stay in that house and meet with Bernard and Mimsey and all the ropes in the Von Haunt Estate they keep people from entering a room also keep the ghosts out! They can not even SLEEP in their own house they are sleeping outside in the cold on benches and they can't even use their OWN kitchen!!!! What a horrible thing to do EA!! :(
