2:10 I believe that it's still bugged and Kroq-Gar doesn't personally benefit from all of his faction bonuses to Saurus old-bloods, but there is a mod in the steam workshop that fixes it.

I'm really glad that this campaign is out for everyone now. Kroq-Gar is one of my favorite LLs, the first I ever beat the game with, and the Lizardmen are one of my favorite factions that don't get nearly enough love. Looking forward to the chaos!

So, first of all: loved the video and Lizardman gameplay. Second, everything you said about Napolean Total War, I say about Fall of the Samurai. Best naval combat in Total War, lots of lines of dudes shooting at each other, plus a great soundtrack!

I just noticed in this video that the skaven settlement has a big skaven silhouette in the background (the hanging rocks in the shadows). I do wonder why they didn't include more warpstone decorations like the warpstone mines and shit from Warhammer 2. That would at least add some green to go with the brown.
When it comes to naval battles it's all down to implementation, it was basically designed for empire so that's why it works so well with it and Napoleon. Shogun 2 was the first game after it and due to the setting had a very different take on naval battles, so also it worked. Rome it felt just tacked on naval battles and never fleshed them out the same as the previous 2 games so was absolutely crap to play but if they had actually put the effort in it could have been as good as empire. Rome's time period and setting also saw some of if not the largest and most important naval battles every seen, so not having it at all would just feel wrong.

36:41 there is a little bit of that for the Dark Elves, because they get Black Arc battles, which is kinda what you described. But they're one of two races that can build "fleets" and of the two, they're the only one with a cool map.
(I think it's partly a map because a Black Arc isn't a "ship" really, it's a piece of a huge building that floats via magic.)

You should take khalida out you can use her territory as a good defensive position against the skaven who reside in the badlands.....plus that's your own really place to expand...otherwise you're locked into just kinda staying "put" lol....sorry I always tell people my own strategies......thorek always declared war on me when I play krog gar
Purely from a single player point of view I think that the player should be give 2 options 1 is normal just a siege battle as normal 2 is a land battle but to give the defender a kind of boost due to it being a land battle with no walls and the like they should get more units instead and the quality and the number of the units would depend on the settlement tier like for tier 3 they get 4 more units tier 4 they get 6 and tier 5 they get 8 extra units on top of the garrison something like that for the people like me who just hate settlement battles

So weird seeing someone use wind blast, probably one of worst if not the worst damaging spell in the game and not going for thunderbolt one of the best spells in that school of magic, maybe even the best one because its cost. At least this is my view from a multiplayer side.
About the end of the video and your allies, the both have a good units maybe better the dwarfs because you get nice ranged units that lizards kinda lack.
