Bad Omens has gone from "a band I've never heard of" to one of my favorites in the span of a few weeks. Absolutely awesome.

Especially you hear their older songs. They started out great, and they only get greater with their newer music. This band and Polyphia I discovered around the same time. Same build up with their music only getting better as well from the older to newer work.

@@emamarcela354 they withdrew from a show a few years ago (2018?) due to contract dispute but one of the other bands said it was because their name on the poster was too small 🤦♀️ that somehow became the version of truth that everyone thought. Noah dealt with a lot of bullying on social media when that happened. But I'm glad they put that behind them and put out so much good music since then 🎶🎵🔥👍

@@zzagg6 If you enjoy heavier stuff and some of these aren't necessarily "lesser known" then Silent Planet, Phinehas, Knocked Loose, Wolves At The Gate, Counterparts, Polaris, Every Time I Die, and Norma Jean are doing much more interesting things IMO.
Like a villain, limits, and death of peace of mind are my 3 favorites.
Their songs make me so calm and happy! I know it's kind of the opposite of their style, but that's how I feel and I love them so much.

This song hits me so different now with what happened 8 months ago. Went through a situation where 2 weeks after a clean breakup where we stay friends, I had my name drug through the mud and people said stuff that I never said and instead of asking me or even defending my character, she instantly believed them, ganged up on me with them, bullied me out of a friend group and my mental got to a really bad spot and felt hopeless and alone. Thankful to have it like 90% behind me and blocked all of them out of my life, but this song got so relatable.

I have schizophrenia since 2014. I take my meds but every time I think my life will get better something bad happen with my health. Lately I've been having some serious health problems and I'm angry with God. I still love Him, but how much pain a person can take? I'm sad, I'm furious. Life is not fair. I see bad people living their best life and good people suffering. That's not fair. Where is justice? I don't deserve this pain that I feel. I've been through hell. I don't want to die.

@@toml7320 not talking about this track in particular, rather tried to make an overall statement, as in if you compare their earlier live performances and the vocal risks Noah took in the 2nd album, both well executed on the softer and the heavier side, you can definitely see that he evolved as a singer. Noah himself posted on his instagram a statement about one of their recent songs (don't quote me on that though) that he is thankful for all the support he has gotten to push his vocal boundaries. Not to say that their vocals sucked or that they're the best band there is, but you can definitely see the progress, including their live performances
So long story short I am in the adult GED program and was blasting this through my headphones on repeat doing class work. When my teacher who is close to my age (26) if not a little older and attractive started rocking out to it. Lol I think he is now a Bad Omens fan.
These guys blow me away and are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands ever, right up there with Korn, Mudvayne, Godsmack, Slipknot, Linkin Park, and all the other bands I grew up loving. I'm shocked they don't have a bigger following yet.
