I wish I could design and implement our very own Lake Solar Plant for our remote community around our Lake (Lake Lanao in the Philippines) where electricity is always on the shortage. I may be the first in our country to implement this type of project with your guide and help.
Both companies had built projects in Chile, and I would like to comment some things to the video: i) I have experience doing electric installations in marine platforms (photoperiod lights in salmon industry), and an important source of corrossion is produced by "fowling", that are all the algae and animals (like mussels) that grows everywhere and starts corroding plastic like electric cables insulations. Salmon industry have dedicated divers' teams that are continuously cleaning platforms and nets. ii) a year ago Ciel et terre built a floating PV plant in a mining reservoire in Chile at approx. 2.96 US$/Wp at that time currency values as informed in the news (at the end the source). But this year 2020, Isifloating won two licitations for floating PV plants for farming irrigation reservoirs at 1.1 US$/Wp (this is an industry rumour). This means an astonishing cost drop for one year (almost three times). It could be nice if the interviewers had talk something about it. iii) here in Chile the regulation requires explicitly that solar PV panels must be mounted on metallic structures (inox. or galvanized steel, or anodized alluminum), but as the presentation show both companies mount their pannels directly over their plastic floats. So it could be good to know how they are dealing with the authorities to obtain the connection permission without fulfill all the requirements demanded for on-land projects? I work for Voltalia and will be doing a Floating Solar farm in French Guyana, and want to know if there is a typical schedule showing sequncing of the execution
