For those wondering why Aaron lied to Liv, it's because if the cops found out that a minor took and drove a car, she'll be in probation and would be arrested for TWOC (Taking Without Owner's Consent) coupled with a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) slap, and would be due for a court hearing. The UK takes underage driving to a whole new level, so you could see Liv's reaction, that she really needs to keep it quiet, when Aaron mentioned it. Plus, Robert would be prosecuted for allowing a minor to drive without a license and insurance which is punishable by serving jail-time. Either way, both Robert and Liv would be reprimanded in court, more so for Liv. So you could say that Aaron's protecting the both of them, since you can't really make any alibi for underage driving and driving under the influence, in addition to Liv getting knackered with drug-overdose. Liv going through counselling for the alleged 'Drug Overdose' is better than getting the cops involved. NOTE: So it's really confirmed that Dr. Alex is Aaron's new love interest. I noticed the quick zoom-in to Liv's reaction, when Aaron and Dr. Alex were interacting. Such subtle hints though. This would be very interesting to see how this pans out. The hot doctor reminds me of Jackson. I think the DOC would be a good remedy for Aaron, for the meantime...

Well, you can't really say that Aaron and Alex have no spark since they've only been in two scenes so far. You have to remember that when Robert came back in 2014 and had his first scenes with Aaron, they literally had no spark since their sordid affair was kept under wraps by the entire Emmerdale crew and cast... And, he was trying to blackmail Ross and Aaron for he needed them to do a fake robbery at Home Farm. The only time wherein the viewership saw that they had chemistry was when they had their first kiss, which shocked the audience since Robert was engaged with Chrissy and those who watched him since from 1986 knew him as a straight character.
He is disgusting that´s what he is. It´s still shocking to me that some people want him for Aaron. I liked the story for the biggest part of 2015, but it ended tehre. Robert should have paid, and making Aaron get back with him was disgusting to.
