Just make sure there are no sharp bends along any of the silicone tubes as that would create a constriction and block the flow of fluid or air.
Apart from that, this repair is easy for anyone to do but if you really want a long-lasting repair that can withstand moisture and corrosion then be sure to do these:
(1) Use hot glue to secure any silicone tube connections that do not feel tight or slip out easily with a light tug
(2) Use silicone grease to coat the red O-ring and the two exposed screws
