🇧🇷 Na época eu tinha 22anos e não tinha condições financeiras de comparecer no Rock "in Rio , mas como um bom amante do Rock "n roll , assisti todos os shows pela TV , sem perder nenhum dia .Bem melhor que Woodstock .Depois disso eu assisti algumas edições do festival que no meu ponto de vista eram bons, mas nada comparado com o primeiro de 1985.infelismente a sequência do Rock"in Rio virou bagunça , qualquer desafinado que não tem nenhuma identidade com o rock canta no Rock "in Rio.

Bruce Dickenson accidentally setting his foot on fire and stomping it out at 19:29 without missing a line is classic Bruce.
But he did let his mic fall moments before...,, haha, missing half verse, but not a slight amount of grace though. he also openned a huge cut in his head with a guitar at this concert, while singing Revelations.

Estive nesse dia, no Rock in Rio. Muito rock e muita lama. Choveu muito, mas lavamos a alma com os shows desses caras. Foi muito bom. Hoje tenho 70 anos e conservo, nas minhas melhores lembranças, essa maravilhosa aventura de um mineiro de Juiz de Fora viajando com essas bandas no Rio de Janeiro. Inesquecível!!!!

Essas lembranças são lindas, feliz de quem ás tem. Feliz de quem pode acompanhar esse Rock in Rio ao vivo. Este primeiro ocorrido em 1985 foi o único bom e insuperável. Os demais foram só porcarias, um lixo. Em 2024 completa quase 40 anos (1985 - 2024). Vi o primeiro e os demais pela televisão. A música de hoje é imprestável, insuportável um lixo!

Look at all those kids having a blast! I saw the Maiden tours of 1983 and ‘85. I was in complete awe both times, and this really takes me back. They were in their prime here. Maiden was a force of nature.
The 1983 Piece of Mind Tour had Fastway opening in my town and was the best concert experience of my life. Whenever I listen to "Running Free" I think back to that song being Maiden's encore song and it was a sing-a-long and Bruce got the crowd into a frenzy.

As músicas tocavam nas rádios, o Rio foi invadido pelo Rock and Roll!!!! Muitas saudades. Depois fui no dia 19 assistir Scorpions, Ac/dc, Ozzy e Whitesnake novamente.

I was there!!!!....Still have my ticket stub......personally met and spoke with Ozzy, Whitesnake, Brian May and Roger Taylor, Rod Stewart, James Taylor......The weather was not the best, overcast and sometimes brainy. Great Memories. Flight from Toronto to Rio was about 11 hours with a stop in Miami.

Fui apenas no dia 11, assistir ao Iron. Sou de 66, há época com 18 anos. Lembro-me da repórter Ilze Scamparini, no portão de entrada do festival, fazendo reportagens. Às 3h da manhã o Queen encerrou aquela noite/madrugada..., lembro-me!

Can we talk about Jake E Lee? He did such a great job with the solos - he replicated them as well as anyone could, stayed true to the original out of respect for the music (and Randy), but somehow made it sound like Jake E. Lee. That is NOT easy to pull off and I don't care who you are.
I can only dream of concerts like this back in the day but i was lucky enough to see some great bands that toured 🇦🇺🤘👍😎🤘
