We had the chance to take our mom and bonus dad back to St. Anthony's Sand Dunes in Idaho, with new wheels and paddles! We had such a blast!

I am glad I got to live the dune life back in the 80s when the 3 wheeler TRX 250 and quad 250 X and 4 stroke 350x where around. About 10 of us would go every weekend and ride the St. Anthony dunes and have them all to ourselves. Might see 10 other riders all day. Way to busy now and people are always getting hurt or killed now.
Different times then and now, that’s for sure!

Last time I rode a trike they were still a "thing" and I broke my wrist at Glamis. Tried to jump through a pucker bush and ran out of talent. No bueno, but still had a good time.
Oh man, we all run out of talent sometimes, it’s not a matter of if, but when. Glad you came out with just a broken wrist and nothing major, war wounds are always a good memory of good times 🤘🏽

St Anthony’s is a beautiful place to ride I would give it a close 2nd to glamis just because the camping at Glamis is so much better I have kids and st Anthony is not kid friendly for kids to ride around camp and the gravel not paddle friendly but if your older and you don’t care about camping at a busy campground and you don’t have kids st Anthony is a good place to visit definitely not as good as Glamis but definitely 2nd place for sure 👍
I'd have to say I see it as completely the opposite haha. Sand hills resort has tons of baby dunes and super kid friendly. I do like glamis camping! And love glamis! But for sure not as good of duning as st Anthony's in my opinion haha.

@@roostertail9220 Absolutely! They both offer their own positives, two very different types of dunes. Luckily their seasons are opposite for some good dune ripping year round.
