I was super unmotivated this week to go to the gym. I had been taking pre-workouts, energy drinks, coffee, etc and super unmotivated. I came across this video and holy shit, talk about motivation. I strive to be 1/8th the man Cameron Hanes is. This video will serve as my daily motivation
I live in Washington, and the tap water is very cold here. Having said that, I've been using cold therapy since I was 18 years old. In 1977, I worked in a shipyard as a carpenter. My work partner, Jim Quinn, was 65 years old. We were talking one day about his service in WW2 as a Marine on Okinawa. When I realized how old he was, I asked him why he didn't have any grey hair. His answer was the start of the cold therapy discussion and its benefits. Take a cold shower or start out by finishing your shower with cold for at least 2 minutes. It works, give it a try.
I hurt after 20 minutes in a bike but I’m woefully out of shape. This guy runs 21 miles without caring. Nuts. Great vid! Finally put out my own first vid on CZcams

At 54 like Cam, you get that attitude because you know what works and honestly dont care what people say or think!! That is confidence in life. I love his "must be nice" banners. Thanks Dan for bringing this to us. Elk Shape is a channel I follow and subscribe to because of the knowledge and entertainment. Both you and Cam seem to be great motivators and great people that if you lived next door I would hang out with.
By any metric that was an amazing day. I'm in the infancy of my Run, Lift, Shot life but looking forward to the growth. Keep it up guys, Keep Hammering!

Yeah Cam puts in the work and the volume of work is crazy. His exogenous hormone usage cuts down on his recovery time and allows him to maintain the volume of work at his age. Any other 54 year old would have to train in spurts and use rest periods to obtain half the fitness level he's at. Inflammation, scar tissue, arthritis, ligament damage, stress fractures. All of that is no problem when you're taking that stuff he's on. He got Joe Rogan on the Testosterone train too.
