After 5 years of listening to Men I Trust, I've come to the conclusion that : they just don't miss !!
Every time they release a song I think to me: "probably isn't as good as the last one". But it's actually better. Every time!

I am 50. My daughter turned me onto Men I Trust. They have the most beautiful music. This Video really does remind me of my childhood except for the shoe coverings. I am from Texas so it is almost always too 🥵. ✌️ Y'all

@@aleron27 He most definitely is. Prolly a couple hours everyday since 12-13 yrs old i think? Mostly self taught. He radiates music. I had to play the song ''Delevans'' from Jeff Lorber and he was playing with me for my exam. He learned the guitar solo in 1 night and played it perfectly the day after I sent him the song. Hah, loved the guy. Real funny too. It's definitely 5-10% talent and 90% hard work in the end... there's no getting around it. Discipline, dedication and play play play!

Dont jinx them. Once Arcade Fire only went from strength to strength. The Suburbs was everything. And then the disappointing but still OK bloated follow up bridging the gap to albums noone cares about.

Pure poetry, every time. They never disappoint.
Every f. time... when i listen their songs first time i am thinking meh, but after some days later melody or something in the song suddenly poping in my head. Men I Trust's sound is so definitive and timeless. I think we are gonna be like the old grandma's and granpa's commenting their young age songs and telling their stories about it. This song is one of them.

I'm lucky enough to say that I had the chance to see them live today and when I walked out I had nothing but to say that they are such a magical band. This song especially made me go through feelings I never felt before. So weird but makes my body dance by itself..

I cannot begin to express how obssesed I am with this song. I love Men I Trust! Every song is just banger after banger and they just make me feel so comfortable and warm inside
It seems like I'm living that moment while I'm watching this video and listening this song. It's like a time machine that takes me to a place in the 70s. I lived my childhood in the late 80s and early 90s. I miss those days that I lived with my parents when I was a little child. I used to wake up early to watch cartoons and play video game on tv while my mom cooked something in the kitchen.
This song and video bring me good memories from the past and a lot of melancholic and nostalgic feelings like happiness and sadness at the same time.

@Bosco Coelho , exactly like a time machine born end of fifties my childhood was sixties/seventies , roller skating 69 to peter sarstedt greatest hit . loved cartoons , no videos our best plaything was being outside , my kids grew up in your era . the words in this song seem very relevant to my wife and I , I found this clip by chance a few days ago and had to show my wife because the girl mainly featured is like her deceased sister reincarnated . wishing you and yours a HEALTHY HAPPY FUTURE .
Dude I know exactly what you mean. I can't describe it either. Nostalgia. Relaxing yet somehow depressing. Like a longing for memories you don't have but wish you had. They hit this like emotional nerve in you that you can't describe.

My parents also born in the late fifties and I grew up listening all the stories about their youth and all the songs from that era. It seemed like a peaceful time.
