I get what you mean about keeping parts of practice a secret. I feel like most of my conversations are: "whoops I've said too much" or "Whoops I've said too little." Some words/ideas gain power when you speak them, others feel diminished.

I’ve been really into poetry too, it started mid last year but really ramped up the start of this year. I love the stretch Tarot and I am currently waiting for the Abaton Keys, which is so up my alley. I agree with you about certain decks making editions and honestly the perfect example is Tarot of Aphrodite. That deck is gorgeous and while this doesn’t apply to me personally, I do feel for those who backed/purchased the first edition and a new edition was quickly released with a better guidebook. Idk, I ramble. Lol. Anywho, great video as always. 😎

My Odyssean Tarot just came in and it’s a serious deck. I’m taking winter and spring to study Marseille, summer and fall for Thoth, but the Odyssean is winter 2025 for sure. I love a deck that is a teaching tool as well as a tarot deck and this deck really will demand all my attention. I’ve been wanting to learn about Greek mythology and this is the perfect way to start that journey.

Keeping some parts of your practice private makes total sense. In a sense some of our readings or tarot work can be seen as spellwork and to bring things forth you do need to keep some of it secret. An idea I had about possibly wanting to present a reading or results later. You could film or otherwise record the reading and see how it turns out then you have the initial interpretation and can present it or not. So you could hold things close if you feel called to. But still have the flexibility of including it later on. Thank you for posting this. I enjoy your videos. They have a tarot chat over tea with a friend. A chill & cozy energy.
