I have done 7,700kms in mine since June and average fuel consumption has been 5,66l/100km., with a best between fills of 5,35l/100km and a worst of 5,83l/100km. - better than the official Nissan consumption figures. I live in rural France but the car has made 2 trips back to see my family in the North of England so a fair amount of motorway driving. That worst consumption was almost all motorway from filling up North of Manchester to home near Limoges. Mine is the 2 wheel drive and I usually put it into the Eco setting. Overall I'm really pleased as all the positives you mention apply to my experience, to which I would add the good intelligent cruise control and the safety features.
How did you work out the avg fuel economy? In Australia we have found that the fuel tank is actually 60 litres and not 55 as claimed by Nissan and the digital display always shows close to 10% better economy than real life consumption I filled up today and travelled 865km and needed 56.56 litres which = 6.54l/100km however the digital avg economy showed 5.9l/100 I wonder if your car also has same incorrect fuel economy avg? Next time you fill up reset the trip meter and on next fill up divide litres in by km travelled and see if your real life usage matches your cars display
I'm a retired accountant but some things don't change. I keep a spreadsheet, fill to the brim each time and record kilometres at time of filling. Only kilometres travelled comes from the car instruments.

I got it that in city it recouperates a bunch with e-brake, but on a highway it cant do that. I have somewhat 2 ´´fears´´: First one is, the fuel consumption on longer trips would go to high 8L per 100Km amybe even mid 9L per 100Km, and the second one is, that 3cylinder motor is somewhat scetchy to me and I really don´t know what is the longetivity of it.
Sorry but I can't answer that as I calculate the consumption each time I fill the tank, and I've never used a tankful at those speeds! What I have noticed over our European winter is that when we had a few very cold weeks (by our standards anyway - -5 to -10 Celsius - consumption was higher. One tankful at that time was 7.04 litres per 100 km, but the next as the cold spell eased was 5.97. Overall average to date is 5.95 litres per 100km, so still under Nissan forecast after 18,000km.

But the consumption on longer trips is what´s bothering me, as I drive to my parents once a year about 1500km in one way, and if the consumption is above 8 for that trip, that really is not the car that would suit me. Yes, over the year it the consumption would be better in urban/city areas, but on holiday with the familiy and longer trips would not. I really need to dig more to see how this car behaives in real life.
Eco mode and press the EV button to switch off the engine in traffic or when the battery is about 3 bars full, then change your driving style. You should get an above average range when driving.
This car is good , except the rear seat not so good , surface too short and flat , leg doesn’t have enough support and not stable if you compare with Tiguan
