- Those Ryzen 7000 CPUs can be quite a bit power hungry if you let them behave like they want to, which is why today we're setting this R5 7600 to be more performing in multithread AND more power efficient, with lower temps and stopping it from overheating. This time we're doing it in Windows, with Ryzen Master.
This will work for every AM5 Ryzen 5 chip from AMD, like the Ryzen 5 7600X and 7500F

In the pbo overdrive (pbo limits, scalar etc wich are the correct settings) if i set the pbo 90 level 3 or even i do this manually? Can someone help. Thank you.
Do you guys think i can do the same for 7600x and how does the actual performance enhance come with this, it kinda seems like we are limiting the cpu like temp and voltage and the increase comes from lower temp maybe?
I have this CPU on a Gigabyte B650M D3HP motherboard, and I set the PBO to 80 2 and it ran cooler but my frame rates in MSFS 2020 went down. I did it in BIOS because no matter what I do I can not get Ryzen Master to work. It says overclocking is disabled.
When I run the ryzen master software my system crashes and I have to reboot. Any possible solution?
is this also applicable for 7800x3d?
So you are recomended the same voltage and settings for a 75W and a 170W ?!
I have a GFX CO Value option on my curve optimizer, do u know what it is?
Hello i have a new build with 5 7600 and 3070 ti 32 gb ddr5 6000 cl30 and a b650 rog strix. Everything it's fine but in game there is stuttering on the monitor. It's and old MSI 144 hz with free sync and not G sync. I do not have some fps drops. They are around 160 and 200 for most of the titles... i don't really figure it out what's the problem
hi, when I use your settings, my PC does not restart and remains frozen, I have to use a hard reset and nothing is saved, do you know where the problem is?
Why didint you used curve optimizer on 5000cpu videos?
Is overclockig r5 7600 to 5ghz safe on a B650M H motherboard ?
Amazing , thank u do much 😜💪💪
why u ppt is 1.000 tdc 180 and edc 250 its normal parameters? i have 0 -1 -1, And another question is the Ryzen Master, after restarting it, do you always have to reapply it or do the configurations always remain installed?
Same
perfect, i recently update my bios and this is what i needed
Glad I could help, really :)
i undervolted and it reset/disabled my dram xmp, when i try to enable it from bios, it just doesn't work. Is there anyway to active xmp?
same for me :/
hope it was worth
Xmp, expo, are overclock type, so overclock does overvolting
The peak core voltage on ryzen master when in bios is called overuse cpu voltage right? Setting this to 1.2v
It should be called just CPU Voltage or vCore, double check. But if there isn’t such a thing, then yes very likely!
Setting PBO to 80 20 in bios has somehow hindered my Ryzen 5 7600 CPU. Even now that I have set the motherboard back to default settings, I am getting bottlenecked at the CPU in Microsoft Flight Simulator now. I have lost 15 frames per second, and it is a bottleneck of the CPU doing it. I have not been able to reverse it and get the FPS I was getting before I tried this.
gg
everytime i change those settings and i close the ryzen master app and reopen, i notice it doesnt save the settings, am i doing something wrong? i click on test and apply and still nothing, it goes back to default after i reopen the app
try doing negative 30 values in bios, many videos on yt for 7600 undervolt using bios
W
bro why dont you have more views you deserve more
Ahahahaha you’re way too kind! If you guys keep watching, subscribing and commenting I’m sure slowly the channel will grow, but I’m just happy to help whoever finds me :)
Thank you
I solved the problem with my Ryzen 5 7600 and low FPS by flashing the motherboard bios back to the original bios version (removing the latest version) and leaving all settings to default in bios. Now my frame rates in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 are back to where they were before I flashed the bios to the latest version and tried to undervolt the CPU.
These are my PBO settings in BIOS.
PBO Advanced / PBO Limits Disabled / Curve Optimizer All Cores -35.
I can go to -40 but it seems unstable and benchmarks felt like I dropped some FPS.
My most aggressive is -38 but I find -35 to be the sweet spot. Thank you for explaining why you used Ryzen Master.
EDIT: CPU is Ryzen 5 7600

Hi bro, i have a question, i have a asus tuf dash 15 laptop with intel i5 and rtx 3060, i´ve seen your videos for undervolt GPU and i have a question, i play black desert online and the temperature of my CPU is so high between 85 and 95 grades, do u think i need undervolt my CPU too? please help me :c
To be honest, yes. But many laptops have a locked CPU, on intel. I have some tutorials for locked laptop CPUs but they don’t work on EVERY laptop. I would recommend you change the thermal paste and thermal pads, tbh
@@ImWateringPSUs ty so much, in addition i disabled multi threading and the temperature go down :)
would this work for a AMD Ryzen 7 7700X aswell?
The Ryzen Master procedure absolutely yes, however I do have a dedicated tutorial for the R7 7700X, it’s on my channel in the “CPU Undervolting” playlist!
so every one have ryzen 5 7600 even with water cooler need to do this to not have problems?
You are fine without it, but it can improve performance and temperature
So undervolting in ryzen master gave me the orange ram led and for few minites couldnt even boot into bios, for all the people out there, do this in bios, not in this mad application
When restarting pc i need restart ryzenmaster evrytime
Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks alot
Can someone help me. I have gigabyte a620 motherboard and i dont have curve optimiser option and advanced mode in ryzen master. My temp when play warzone goes to 91 92
Make sure to update your bios
Definitely check for a BIOS update and worst case use Ryzen Master!
There is no PBO curve optimiser on a620 it is a b650 up option. Don't worry your still modern, or change motherboard.
what is recommended settings for Ryzen5 7600x with board of Gigabyte b650m X AX? is it the same with the non-X?
5.6GHz 1.3v
Did u find out? I have the exact same setup
@@robren5810 no, i ended up doing eco mode
ppt- 88000
tdc- 75000
edc- 150000
plus thermal limit of 85
degrees
I have the same exact build wtf
I have x version could I copy these settings?
Absolutely yes!
i've won the silicon lottery! mine runs at -50 :D
I just enabled PBO from the BIOS at -20, now I’m getting much better temps and performance, I might try 25 or 30
I’m really happy it was helpful, thanks a lot for taking the time to leave some feedback :) Consider subscribing if you wanna support the channel & for more tutorials!
@@ImWateringPSUs sure I’ll subscribe! I’ve also followed your RTX 3070 undervolting guide, got down from 220 watts usage to 170, I even have less temps, not that I needed low temps but it’s a good to have
Would love if you share results if you try with more than 20 undervolting
@@ivelinbanchev4337 I tried 25 and it’s working flawlessly on 25 too, didn’t try 30, I’m getting 15.3k score on Cinebench R23, average 500+ fps on Valorant, max is like 800-900, min is 300, gpu is 3070, overall amazing experience
Bro what is PBO pls let me know my r5 7600 is 55° ideal temp
I got 5.5ghz allcore with 1.245v but till i will buy some new thermal paste im using it at 5.2 ghz 1.1v (SOC voltage 1v or 1.1v)

He came when we wanted 😁
:)) My man!
Can the ryzen 5 7600 support DDR5 at 6000 mhz?
Yessir, but only if you subscribe to the channel
Ciao posso applicare stessi settaggi per un 7500f ?
Si!
my pc crashed when i go -20 undervolt what should i do next
did u find a fix
test -15 if its crashed test -10
Buddy this CPU will run without the air cooler attached, what are you trying to undervolt it for?
Less wattage, lower temps...
Pretty much this!😂✌️
significantly reduced heat output, better temps, higher 1% lows, lower electricity both in running the system and potentially air conditioning in the summer, longer mobo & cpu lifespans if you plan on owning it for many years.
There's significantly more reasons to undervolt than overclock, and until you get to the more extreme of either end the results typically fall within the typical margin split of the silicon lottery anyway.
@@sakaraistthis cpu is made to run hot, you get higher 1% lows but even lower average fps, and at best you will save less than 10 dollars a year if you’re playing all day every day
Ah yes the clean your gpu with soapy water guy
Can this be done with a ryzen 7 5000 series laptop?
I have a dedicated undervolting tutorial for Ryzen 5000 series laptops CPUs, it’s in my playlists
@ImWateringPSUs Awesome that really helped! Any chance you know how to fix read and write speeds on new ssd I have a 990 pro ssd but am only getting a little under half the advertised speeds, all drivers are up to date and it's in preformace mode. It's a victus 15 laptop I was told it should be able to achieve near max speeds on the 990 pro. Any opinion helps Cheers!
Pbo limits + curve optimiser vs manual offset/ static method please which is better and why ? For Ryzen 9 5900x pc which runs 24/7 , which is good for best low temperatures and performance
Well, it depends on your usecase. For gaming, curve optimizer is a bit better, but for productivity and/or overall lower temps I recommend a static UV. Also I do have a dedicated video for the 5900X, it’s in my CPU Undervolting playlist and it’s gonna help you more than this video :)
@@ImWateringPSUs please one video on negative offset on Gigabyte motherboard most of the videos are asus bios
i did this, copied all settings and it caused the DRAM error light turn on. i cant even get to the BIOS screen help :(
Remove motherboard battery for a few minutes, it should reset bios
Ya I did this and nothing changed still getting 50c at idle
Upgrade ur cooler bro it's not working and prolly ur thermal is gone
Does this work for 7600x?
Yessir! But only if you subscribe to the channel :p
@@ImWateringPSUsalready did because I watched another vid on undervolting 4070. Lol. Thanks alot
Fk. I m with the a620 and cant do all these settings no curve optimization available
I’d say make sure you have updated your BIOS and worst case scenario use Ryzen master
@ImWateringPSUs the ryzen master interface looks nothing like yours, co and pbo are both locked, i did manage to undervolt in the bios and it does decrease the temp by 5 to 10 degrees c during gaming, sitting at 65-75
a620 chipset does not support PBO.
is -20 good for r5 5600x?
Not really, for the 5600X I do have a dedicated tutorial! I don’t recommend curve optimizer on AM4
If you purchase a decent Thermalright cooler, you would not be even worrying about 'high temps'. My R5 7600 at MAX goes up to 75 celcius on ID Cooling SE-207-XT on a high stress test. Most of the time it keeps the temperature from 55-67 celcius during gaming.
I don't understand the point of this video, you are trying to starve an already power efficient chip. If you did this with 7950x, it absolutely makes sense because you can clip off huge amounts of watts and that CPU still performs well.
Hi, what app do you use for stress test that reaches only 75?
